Wow. This is the first contest I've run across that originates in my backyard. I actually work on Bluebonnet Blvd. and live in Sorrento. Welcome to Logo Tournament! I hope you've enjoyed your experience so far. My submission can be presented in a variety of color schemes. I realize Southern and LSU colors are everywhere so I chose a strong burgundy which compliments the colors in the arches which are inspired by those on the Mckinley building. Don't hesitate to let me know if this isn't quite what you are shooting for. I can always adapt and recolor to your taste. WHO DAT!
Small world! Good thing I asked for an extension earlier today because of Veteran's Day otherwise you wouldn't have been able to make a submission because the cutoff would have been last night.
I'm not sure I'm diggin' the design mainly because when I first saw it the first thing that I thought was "church". And although we have a design with the fleur de list ranked fifth right now I'm pretty sure we don't want to use the fleur de lis just because it's so over-used (like purple and gold).
