Our Ideas & Additional Information
Client is a large BioTech Pharmaceutical Research company doing an employee event: the slogan "Innovate or Die" is to be emphasized and the only text on the design but they want to include an illustration to add fun and excitement to the event. It should be bold and bright. The scientists work primarily in molecular drug research and will be going to a workshop where this design will be used on t-shirts and printed materials. This company is known for having innovative designs for all their events! - pay attention to the style sliders!

Note - they are in molecular research - the concept of molecules can be used by all designers in your own distinct creative way to illustrate the innovation theme!

these rankings are so I can more easily show the client - don't withdraw anything yet. I like the direction this is going - will have some client feedback later today!

Client feedback:
They really want the graphic to illustrate the slogan. Maybe add more detail to show some innovation and some "death"!!!! They do have a sense of humor and even thought of maybe doing race cars with some falling off a cliff! OR relating it to other dangerous sports where some succeed and some "die"!
Specific comments to go direct to designers.

ok the designer sense of humor is beginning to show more! I think the leaning toward innovate needs to show as much as the 'die' part... but I will show all the entries to the client for comments. Light bulb is good but try to think of other symbols of 'innovate' than the light bulb too...things that move fast forward - maybe even play with the "8" in innovate... It needs to be something that people will 'get' the key message when they see it on a t-shirt at a company that gives their employees a shirt for everything that happens!

New feedback - individual feedback left. They still want to see options showing different concepts but he likes the ideas so far. New idea to show that the innovator is "outside the box" going a different direction that ends in success! - note rankings are very changeable based on the client feedback - Have fun with it.

note you don't have to upload on different backgrounds - just do the grey - trying to save you some time.

The sense of humor is amazing - cant wait for their feedback - will most likely only extend a couple days if that much to sort out the final feedback after the weekend. They are leaning toward the ones that show the reward for the innovator! But you never know! Fun stuff here thanks all!

Client
extended just so the client will have time to review and rank properly early next week - may end it early - I am still much amused by your creativity - remember we want to avoid gradients - the print method for shirts we are using doesn't translate them as well as it looks on screen or print on paper (at least within their budget). By the response so far this client will continue to do LT contests again in the future too!

OKAY more feedback from the client with a new idea:
"My boss also had another idea: a salmon IN a boat riding upstream, while the other salmon are swimming."
Anyone want to try that concept?

Client
Client meeting results: They need a simple design to quickly convey the message that INNOVATORS succeed and non-innovators "die" - The idea of the #73 -(current top ranked one) - where there is a single fish that figures to swim the other way - is the general message they like.
One innovator gets ahead of the others is another idea to illustrate.
A "trailblazer" is another term that came out of the meeting.
They also like the "Fun" font treatments!
BUT KEEP IT SIMPLE and FUN!

They love the ideas in general so far!

I can tell we are still having fun with this... one more day for new ideas! The top 12 are all still in concept consideration. Still will entertain new ideas that give the message about innovation!
