Hi Anne - Thanks for the submission. Like the basic logo, and prefer the darker blue color. Although I appreciate the icon, not sure it quite clicks for me. If you want to take a shot at something in a similar style using elements of the coast/beach - (dolphin, wave, sun, birds, surfboard, etc.) as an alternative, I'd be interested. Other colors to fit the image as appropriate (i.e. yellow or orange for a sun) are still open for ideas too. Thanks!

Hi Anne - I like the progress on your designs. Thinking about how this might work in different applications, I'd like to ask if you could try starting with #128, take away the seagulls and the drop shadow, and adjust the three bands in the icon to solid colors - bottom stripe a solid blue - middle stripe a solid red or orange (red/orange?) - and the top stripe a bright yellow or yellow/orange. Thanks again!

Hi Anne - Great assortment of options to consider now. These are looking better to me. I'd like to see if you can do a combined version for me - take #234 and change out the upper left corner of the icon from red to the yellow used in #227. I'd like to see it both with and without the tagline if you could. Thanks!

Hihi :)

Here are combined versions of #234 & #227 with and without the tagline:

#238 - #239

When I use gradient with yellow and red (in the same shape) it will look a bit more orange, then when I use only solid yellow.

Thank you,
Anne :)

Another version with more yellow and less red - #240

Thanks. I know it feels a bit picky at this point, but would you might doing just one more using #240 but make the upper left corner solid yellow? The exact same yellow as #227, but without the shading would be great.

Sure, no problem! Its not picky at all.. Thats what Im here for :)

But Im not quite sure I understand you correctly, because when you say upper left corner, do you mean the hole shape or just the left corner of the shape? If you mean only the corner it will always be gradient or a shading down towards the bottom of the shape if Im making any sense..

If you want solid color the hole shape must be just yellow, and it cannot become another color at the end.

Thank you,
Anne

Thanks for clarifying. I meant the whole shape. No gradient in any of the three colored components that make up the icon. Make sense? :)

Here they are in solid colors - #242 & #243

Thanks Anne. I like it. The last thing I think might just help refine it would be to make the white space between the colors a bit thinner. Maybe cut that line width about in half? I'd keep the orange strip the same size and shape, and just allow the yellow and blue to come closer to it on each side.
