All submissions can be edited or mix and match design elements. The whole LT experience is a collaboration between designer and CH (Contest Holder)

Hey Scott, liking your stuff a lot so far! I like the font used in 26 but not necessarily the weathering. I think the X style logo is cool but a little played out. (two other businesses on the same street as us use an X) Some of the other submissions just look a little too modern. #57 is cool but it reminds us of 'straight outta compton' a little bit with that meme being so common lately. thanks!

Thank you for the feedback, I've uploaded a few more variations of the double line

Hey Scott, I keep looking back at #26, it has a good feel and i like the overall shape and the way the thing above 'nonic' could stand alone without the bottom part. Can you expand on that general theme a little bit without the X? thanks man!

we could do something like these...your thoughts?

Scott. Really digging #127. Only thing is that the 'N' is somewhat lost in this one. You think you could work one up with a separation between the base and the top of the glass so the 'N' is a little more legible? thanks!

I was thinking the same thing I'll see what I can do

#142 how's this?

Client
I still like 127 over the newer ones. Stay with that same basic shape, but try and separate the sides from the top and bottom to make it look more like an 'N' also can you try a few different fonts at the bottom? Also not a fan of any of the bubbles. thanks!

#165 something a wee bit different think keg and the spout handle is the glass

Still digging 127 the most, because of the N Pint Glass - sorry i've been MIA we've had a busy weekend at our other business. Can you try to play with the weight of the lines of the glass and use some different more interesting fonts at the bottom? thanks!

No worries, and good idea I'll give that a go see what I can come up with.

I have a suggestion lets concentrate on the glass once we get that honed down the I'll refine the typeface, reason being is that there are literally 10 or thousand of fonts out there and me randomly added different type faces to the glass is not the way we should proceed.

Getting the icon refined first will dictate which direction the typeface should go

I've made slight changes to the N

1. Curved the top and bottom. it looks more glass like (if the curve does not work Ill redo the original)
2. Added awe bit more gap. Looks more like an N
3. Side angles have a tad more slope looks more glass like shape

line weight

#233 thick
#234 medium
#235 thin

your thoughts on the 3 glasses

Logo Designer
#237 #238 I've used the medium thick N glass

244 is looking really good man, thank you!

I think the way the bottom is curved on 244 is a big improvement. looks much more recognizable as a glass.

Logo Designer
agree plus the N is more recognizable as well

#261 a minor update to the class the side bulge is wee more pronounced.

Client
Scott, I think we're going to choose 244! Over the next 7 days after we choose a winner we can still make further alterations to it correct? One of my business partners would still like to see some adjustments to the shape of the N/glass and we'll want to change the font. thanks!

Client
Something we're wondering on 244... Do you think you could take the N glass and make it more angular? With that, try making it bolder and have a small separation between it and the base/top of the glass, which would then be slightly thinner than the N glass. I think that would make it look like both an N and a nonic pint.

I'll work on it

#284 how's this?

Client
I like the lines top/bottom. I think it really distinguishes both the N and the overall image of a glass. The only thing I don't like is the emphasis on the roundness of the bulge. I think that should be more subtle like in #152. Also, if you could try one wear instead of the bulge being rounded, keeping it subtle but more angular, like a slight < >. I want to see how a more minimal, angular logo would turn out

Logo Designer
aaah understood on it now

#288 how this for a softer bulge?

I have a request, if you do decided on selecting one of my designs let me know before doing so I'd like to upload a version on white background. By selecting a design on a white background designer have the opportunity of being a staff pick and presented on the LT home page.

Client
We'll absolutely let you know so you can submit a white background version. Really like #292. Can you leave it the way it is, but have the bottom break occur at the bottom of the left leg of the N the same way you did it on the top right?

#294 update

Client
We feel like it's very close right now. Can you keep that same look without the breaks on the top right and bottom left? And can you do one other where the breaks are on the side and not top/bottom?

There are literally 10's of thousands of fonts and it's not practical or efficient to sift through that many typefaces it just takes too long and to keep posting until you find what you like is still not productive for either of us. If you have a specific font in mind that would be most helpful...if I may suggest that regardless of who you select designer are suppose to provide support for about 2 weeks after being selected

Which mean designers can have direct contact and no rely on messaging back and forth,

Client
Alright sounds good. ill start putting together some type faces I like and get them to you. Thanks for all your work!

Logo Designer
it not easy as I chose the fonts to suite the design trying to match typeface to a logomark usually never works out.

Logo Designer
basically I view fonts then chose what I feel is a good directing then design accordingly to that type face
9 years ago

Client
Ok so what would you suggest our next step be?

Logo Designer
there are 2 options

1. I keep uploading design with font after font after font until you find one if at you are happy with, a very long and tiresome process

2. Select a winner and if it's me we can discuss font options outside of LT if it's someone else you need to make arrangements with that individual

I am an LT member in good standing so tweaking the design is not an issue.
