I am just trying to get a feel for the area and specific demographic, since I know MN pretty well... Thanks in advance! 14 years ago Sweasil McGeasil Client Am in St. Paul 14 years ago Sweasil McGeasil Client The idea of Tricerafrog is for a mascot not a brand. check out http://blog.mlive.com/kalamabrew_impact/2008/05/large_Hops_Cone.jpg for a pic of a hop. Thanks for checking out my contest! 14 years ago NancyCarterDesign Logo Designer Are you looking for a full-on character mascot (gieco, doughboy, green giant)? 14 years ago Sweasil McGeasil Client Not necessarily a full on mascot in full detail or 3d or moving, I don't have plans currently to animate it, but am just starting out. I have never seen a full on tricerafrog so I don't want to rule it out. Husk made a outline of one you can see on the site. It would be great to see a different approach. Thanks for your question! 14 years ago Sweasil McGeasil Client You guys are coming up with some Awesome! designs. Am really excited. Thanks much. 14 years ago Sweasil McGeasil Client I really like the tricerafrog in #17 and the complete seal look of #8 and #15. The water look in #14 is cool. Not sure how to put it all together, but then again you guys are the pros! Thanks much for the input and dedication. Imagine it on the bottle with the beer name included and a story about the beer. Or on a hat or t-shirt for sponsoring events. #8 and #15 would be great on a bottle neck or in the middle of the label, I see #17 more on hats and shirts. It has a great open feel and I am not tied to the seal idea, but it (#17) could use a little more beer element. maybe a grain coming out his far mouth side. or a ring of hops around the little guy like a wreath of hops. Perhaps he is sitting in water or on a rock in a pond? You guide me:) 14 years ago Sweasil McGeasil Client Check out the website I have so far. http://mrmcgeasil.com Thanks 14 years ago Sweasil McGeasil Client I like the type face of Mr.McGeasil better in #17 and that the tricerafrog looks a little less intimidating than in #19. However, I like the idea of the the tricerafrog busting out of the picture more, more interactive looking, in #19, and the use of beer elements and blue that the designer in #19 used. Maybe on #19 it is the three horns on the head instead of two on the head and one on the nose that makes me like #17 slightly more, and you can tell in #17 that it is part frog a bit more. Thanks so much for listening to me and for working on this contest. You guys and gals ROCK! 14 years ago Sweasil McGeasil Client Anybody have any idea on a Tricerafrog holding a beer in the pic?? 14 years ago Sweasil McGeasil Client Your entries are fantastic. Really making me think. I love it. I wish you could all be here to see the giant grin on my face and share a beer with me! Thank you 14 years ago Sweasil McGeasil Client My hope is after this contest the winner will be interested in working with me to create beer labels and designs for each of my different beers! 14 years ago Sweasil McGeasil Client As half of this contest has gone on over holidays for some of us, I am considering extending the contest to allow more time for people's family time. I hope this isn't a problem for anyone, but I would like feedback on why it might not be a good idea. Thanks. 14 years ago Sweasil McGeasil Client Family first. For all of us. Thanks for understanding about the contest extension. Great work! 14 years ago Sweasil McGeasil Client Designers! I have just gotten word from a fortune 500 brand guy that the logo should be simpler. The labels can be more crazy but this is going to go on letter heads and in b&w. Could we drop the frames and slogan and see just the tricerafrog with the Mr. McGeasil (in readable typeface). He could be chilling on a puddle or ??something to set him aside from the paper. Sorry to do this last day, but when the big dogs speak I have to listen. Thanks much. First, have a beer! 14 years ago NancyCarterDesign Logo Designer Will you also need him at a small size? 14 years ago
