Discussion

Love your submissions, especially #74! Can you do a variation of this where the dark blue M in the icon is a little less bold/loud, like you have in #73? And I'm not sure but perhaps an orange star would be cool. And finally: I think the font could be just a tiny little bit more interesting.

Wow, now we are really getting somewhere! Love the orange star.

Do you think you can add a shiny effect in it, like iPhone icons have for instance? The icon in #21 also has it, and logo #63 as well although WAY too much.

Not gonna say anything about the font as you said you were gonna send in more variations :-)

Oh and one more thing: what I prefer in #73 and #74 is that the M skewed to the inside on the top. On the updates it skews to the outside which makes it a little rougher.

Hmm despite what I just said, #82 and #83 are also nice with their shield shape. I guess I'll leave you to your own creativity for a while ;-)

fine...i see what you are asking here.....i have thinned down the M, thats why its looking as if it is skewed from bottom. if you see the rounded edges one (the shield shape ones), i tried to make it skew down from top.

need your update on font ass well as new entries

ok looks great .. can you do the M around the star symmetrical? ... and make the font compared to logo bigger/bolder ... and DB dark blue and .com a lil bit more special kinda like #72 or #45 and orange.

it really looks like we have to go with ur logo ... we love it!

oh yea maybe u can brighten up all the orange parts just a lil bit ...

Sorry to bother you again, can you make some final variations?

- We'd still like to see some other fonts, something more like #110
- We'd love to see a variation with something other than the 2 curly lines. It might be just a little bit too busy like this. Perhaps you can do something with a single strip of light grey film stock? As long as it's very subtle, that part is to support the rest, right? We'd love to see your own ideas for this as well of course.

Thanks and we hope it's gonna be perfect! :-)

no problem...i can work with you on the logo till it reaches the final stage. I have submitted the new font option with film strip beneath the logo in place of two curvy lines
glad to hear from you on this

Thanks a lot! We like the film stock, but it looks like the curves aren't 100% smooth. Can you try to improve that? And we also like it better when the star is on top (overlaps the curves) and has a brighter shade of orange like before.

Oh and perhaps the color of the filmstock could be a little bit brighter as well, so it has the color of the previous upper line!

ok #136 looks pretty sweet now ... can you do the whole thing but with the orange on #113 ...

and another version completely like #113 exactly keep it just remove the second swirly line below the M icon. the bottom line ... just completely remove it. would love to see how it looks with only one line ... compared to the filmstrip.

thanks

yea u understood everything perfectly only dindt change the orange ... ok one final change and we done.

take entry #142 ... change the orange to something brighter. an orange in between #113 and #142.
and put the .com behind the domain instead below. that would be it!!

and second thing ... is it possible that we can also get the logo with the filmstrip?
also change the orange to the same orange you are using on the final logo. thats it.

we would choose the complete thing as the winner, and hopefully you can send us the logo with the filmstrip by mail to jay@moviebiz.ch ... ok ?

thanks
