Mobicip.comLogo Design Contest

Thanks to all for helping to design our logo. All of these are very creative. Just a few initial thoughts. We like the layout as far as symbol on the left, name on the right. However, can we see more vibrant colors and 3-D effects in the images and lettering? Also, since we are working primarily on securing an Apple device, can we incorporate more of a white color (or Apple color, silver?).

We'll start ranking these after we sit down and talk a bit more about our likes/dislikes. Feel free to play around with the color scheme. Yellow and black seem to be standard practice for security, but we would like to be a bit more edgy and modern.

#14) Love the idea of the shield. It utilizes the shimmering silver lining (similar to the Apple logo). We need to get rid of the Apple logo, though. Can we put a silhouette of a child, or possibly a mobile phone in the shield instead? Also, the font for our name must be changed. Would like a font that jumps out at you...include our slogan in future iterations.

#4) Like the shield around the mobile device. Is there any way to change the lock to a shimmering silver similar to Apple logo? Also, the colors look muted. Can we try again with more vibrant colors?

#13) Interesting concept. I like how the name pops out. However, the yellow font gets a bit lost against the background. Also, can we try the graphic on the left of the logo? The figure looks like an adult rather than a child...

#2) Like how the mobile device has a reflection near the bottom. Would like to have the logo "jump" off the screen a bit more.

These are just initial thoughts. Liked many aspects of these logos. Thanks for all the submissions!

Reason behind contest extension:

To all designers. Thanks so much for your efforts. The quality of the logos are continually getting better. We asked for a one-day extension as one of our partners had been traveling and was not actively involved in the decision making process. He had a few comments to make so LogoTournament.com graciously agreed to extend our contest by one day:

1) We've decided against using our slogan. In future iterations, please refrain from using the logo.
2) Want logo to appear fun, yet secure (hence the "cartoony" characters at the top of the rankings). Fun for children, secure for adults
3) Make logos look as 3-dimensional as possible.
