Hi Grafixsphere,

Thanks much for your submissions. We really like the way you've captured the human/animal bond, but frankly, it took us quite a while to figure it out. The mark looks too much like an "S", and it's difficult to tell that it's a human holding a small animal. Can you refine the mark so it's a bit more obvious? Also, the mark can also be mistaken for a snake ... we would like to stay away for any snaking-looking graphic as they're not very "user friendly". Again, thanks for much for your submissions ... we look forward to seeing what you do with it. :-)

thanks for the feedback. made some adjustments. doubled the leg, added a tail to the cat-figure and made the person more of a lady-like image. Now it looks more like a person cuddling a cat.

Hi Grafixsphere,

#32 is much better, but the main element of the design still looks too much like and "S". Is there a way to tone down that aspect of the design?

Hi Grafixsphere,

Regrading #32 ... here's even more information you might find helpful (this time from one of the Mid-Peninsula principals:

"We like the new way you capture the human animal bond graphically. Very creative. We like the cat a lot. In the current logo the person's right arm turns backwards and forms an "S" ... we don't like that very much. Perhaps the arm could terminate towards the circle, moving such that it suggests a hand with a dog leash. The leash wraps around in a circle just as you have the circle now; beginning with a thin fuchsia line, going counter clockwise and thickening and changing colors to dark blue as it goes around. The circle would go around as it does, and end under the person (to their right) with some kind of shape suggesting a dog. I think the dog next to the person is more appealing than making that circle flow into the right arm in that "S" shape. Also, could we see another option for treatment of the human's hair line?"

I hope you find the additional info useful. Thank you very much. :-)

thanks for your feedback. got rid of the S completely. i thought a person with just a circle as his head would fit better as this is just an abstract representation. added a dog as well... as to the dog leash, I am still thinking of a way to put it there.

Hi Graphixsphere,

Two more small changes to #100... can you move to warmer colors? Maybe make the dog brown and then build around that? Also, please remove the gradients. They look nice, but they won't translate well in the various mediums in which we use our logo.

thanks for the feedback...I'll try to come up with more color combinations relative to brown
