That said, I apologize if I was unclear in my earlier description. While he does like the old Northwest Airlines logo, he liked it because it was very clever and very specific to what Northwest was trying to accomplish. I did not intend for this to be a literal statement that he wants something like the logo itself. On the contrary.
If we take the concept of the company, which develops and manufactures a voice controlled, "predictive infotainment" and car navigation system, I'm sure he'd love to see something that is clever and very specific to his company.
Knowing his likes and dislikes, I believe he would reject something with music notes immediately. So please do your best to avoid the obvious.
