Another comment....
RE: #2 - Could you possible make the road a bit 'stronger'.
At the moment, the road looks very secondary to the map pin. More emphasis on the road is required.
Overall it's a good concept, just that the road needs to stand out more.

Maybe another idea... the road could actually be quite large and run behind the name text, with the name text reversing out white. (?) - Just an idea.

I really think the answer is something more simple.

Can you please try some other colours.
We have a competitor here in Australia that uses the same green you have used.
Ne need to pick either a lighter green, or some completely different colours.
