Color Preferences

Please visit www.martiniart.com and take a look at the color and themes we are using to determine a good fit and our overall feel and concept. We are open to different color combinations as long as they work with the existing website. It would also be helpful if the logo could translate to black and white for printing on products and for use in some print advertising.

Our Ideas & Additional Information

Aside from the obvious, which is a martini glass involved somewhere in the logo - we are open to any concepts. We've also toyed with the idea of a "Martini Guy" type of character. Conceptually, we would like a slightly retro, hipster, 1950's type of feel...I emphasize "slightly" as I dont want to be stuck if we modernize the feel of the site down the road. We currently have a slogan below our existing logo; it is not mandatory to incorporate it into submitted designs. Not that all submissions need to emulate this point, but we love the artist "Shag"...

#1 thank you for being the first to post a submission. Interesting, but too kitschy - not a direction we care to go in. A martini glass should some how be worked into the logo design. Drawing style is a bit too "arts and crafts" - prefer drawings that are much crisper.

Hello all of you talented designers. Thank you so much for submitting. The contest is winding down soon and we will be reviewing all submissions. We have our favorites in front of our management team for discussion right now. Although we can only choose 1 logo (I wish we could choose all of them), I can assure all of you that we will be back soon with a few more contests related to logos for specific projects on our site, specific product lines and other items. We will absolutely be doing invites for many, many of you - we are awed by the talent and flexibility we've seen here.
