Diamond Contest
We're sorry, but this contest is presently open to a limited pool of designers.
I would prefer to see uppercase letters for the word lottery and separate the EU from the word lottery. The idea is to tell people what the product is (lottery) and where it is from (eu) and where to go to play it (.eu) What-where-how.
Folks, #1 -#11 I'm looking for fun, exciting, lively, animated eye catching logos. Something that will stand apart creatively from the standard font type lottery logos. I'd like to bring some tie to the European Union (EU) as this is intended to reach and target the EU. Designs that relate. The lottery fonts can be expressive, unique and animated with a tie to the European Union countries. Think about a LotteryAsia or a LotteryEU .. concept. Hope this helps.
#14 ... I'm still looking for some sophistication in the designs in this logo contest. We haven't achieved this yet. This is moving in a more lively direction, but still looks like a cartoon rather than a billion dollar industry. Hope we can get a middle ground with the contest.
I would like to see more designers submit their thoughts.
Pretty basic. We need to convey that this is a lottery and it's from Europe which can be played through the Internet .eu. Somehow, we are not getting much creativity so far.
Duminda : #30 Try to put a larger map of European Continent in a lighter gray (color up to you) scale centered behind the LOTTERYEU. I think that people could better recognize the European continent image. Maybe a shadow relief of the lettering on top of the continent image. Please consider using the same layout for the wording (LOTTERYEU.eu) as you did in #28.when working with #30 - with the different colors for LOTTERY AND EU. Possibly, make the word "LOTTERY" in a larger font or in a bold font so there is a difference in the EU and a distinct seperation between the word "LOTTERY" and the "EU". Perhaps a decending font size for all three. LOTTERY - EU -.eu? Please play with this as we are getting closer to the deadline.
EVERYONE .... We need to be able to recognize the word "LOTTERY" as a visual first impression. Even thought it is joined as LOTTERYEU ...I'm afraid that when the two meanings being LOTTERY and EU LOTTERYEU are not somehow distinctive larger and smaller different colors or acents etc etc many people will not recognize the spelling or meaning of LOTTERYEU?? We need to make the two works "LOTTERY" and EU stand out visually (even if they are connected). This was deminstrated very well in logo #28
#35 and #31 again please try to offset the colors or size or boldness between LOTTERY and EU. I like the Euro symbol incorporated into the EU. Please play with these elements.
Dear Duminda, #37 Let's change the "Y" in LOTTERY" and use the same font for the entire word. #41 Lets try changing the color of the word "LOTTERY" to a red color and then the "EU" to the same gold as the currency symbol. Gold and red are the colors of wealth in Asian cultures. We might want to play with colors and shadows (depth) as well as considering how these designs will look with a black background.
Dear ysonmez: I like the symbolism. Perhaps we might try putting a globe (with Europe facing out) behind the currency symbol (This could also become a rotating flash element in the future) We should also make the LOTTERYEU.eu lettering a bit larger for more dramatic effect. Shadowing?? Yes/No - Not sure?
FOLKS ... THESE LOGOS ARE ALL GREAT ... It's going to be hard to make a choice ... can we have 3 or 4 first places???
#70 Can you remove the little stripes and make the Euro Symbol solid color (same gold color) (take the little stripes out or the symbol) Similar to #76. We will need a very small TM (trademark) symbol (light gray or something very small and subtle)
#65 Please make the .eu (dot eu) at the end the same blue color as the word "LOTTERY"
#68 Please change the color for the (dot) .eu to the same red as the word "LOTTERY" red-gold-red as LOTTERY (red) EU (gold) .eu (red)
#63 The word LOTTERY should be one color. Please change the "Y" to the same color as the letters in LOTTERY
#41 Change the EU next to LOTTERY to the same gold color as the Euro Symbol
#38 Make the word LOTTERY bold or thicker(everything else is OK)
#97 Can you put a gold Euro sign above the two heads with the stars. #95 Can yo put a gold Euro sign above the two heads between the arms. #76 Can you make the words LOTTERY (red) EU (gold) and .eu (red) #67 Can you make the little .eu red to match the LOTTERY in red #68 Please make the Euro sign a solid gold color (same color but NO stripes in the Euro sign)
#97 I would like to see a Euro curency symbol (same symbol as used in #117 and #120 placed between the arms and between the stars. Stars and arms reaching for the Euro symbol.
# 121 Can you make the European countries a bit larger and place just the lower part of map as a background behind the word LOTTERY. Similar to your # 81. You may need to adjust the shadowing on the word LOTTERY to make the word LOTTERY stand out.against the new background. The Euro currency symbol size is fine. I'm just trying to bring all these elements together with a bigger European outline. The colors are great.
#81 Can you use the same Euro currency symbol as you did in #121 and remove the blue. Maybe place it with part of it in the background behind the words with it just touching the lettering. Pllease play with this .. I like the design.
#113 Can you use the same globe colors (which are brighter colors) that you used in #70 and apply them to #113.
#110 Can you put a Euro currency symbol in the stars between the arms using this same overall layout. Also please make the wording a little bigger or LOTTERY and EU
