Hmm, I too just noticed that. After I submitted a new entry.....

Hopefully it is just a mistake since I ASSUME that CH just wanted to see how it would look like....
Still, it is a breech of copyright and should be corrected until the winner is announced and paid.

He had a different logo when I entered this contest. Don't worry. He's indeed trying out the new logo on his website.

positif thinking...

My positive thinking is that such testing should be done in a 'sandbox' environment. Not a public site.

I have not picked a winner yet...I just wanted to see have they looked on the site...
What I really need is for it to have a clear background I think....I dont want the logo to be surrounded
in a white box like it is now..I want it to look like it is laying on top of the back ground..
The yellow bar is suppost to be running all the way across not stop then pick up on the other side.
I dont know any other way to test this or I would not do it on a live site.
The software that im using has a back end that allows me to pick a picture and it loads and places it in that spot.
Sorry if this was confusing.

I have replaced the logo on the site with a generic one.

When you get your final file, there will be no white background on it if it's in the right file format when you upload it on the site.

I will quote one very helpful for you post:

How to Rank and Thank Designers: When it comes time for final rankings, designers appreciate when you choose the top three CONCEPTS (as opposed to variations of the same design) for the gold, silver and bronze awards. If you want to rank two different concepts by the same designer in the top three, that's fine.
Also, rank as many entries as possible, because designers get points added to their overall site standing for each blue ribbon they get.

This is how points are distributed:

1st place - 50 points
2nd place - 20 points
3rd place - 10 points
4-6th place - 5 points
7-10 place - 3 points

(So ranking different designs and concepts is always better)

After that, each ranked entry gets one point for the designer. Nobody will be insulted by being ranked last, the points are still good! So if you pull some entries out of the "Not Interested" group and give them a rank, the designer gets some benefit from entering your contest.

Hope that's helpful, lots of contest holders don't realize this and most are glad to know. It's a good way to thank designers who don't win the contest prize, but who worked very hard to offer you lots of options to choose from for a great logo.
