Discussion

Again, thanks for entering the contest!

I prefer #28 out of what you sent. My first reaction (and the reaction of two other people) was that the graphic reminds them of the MS Windows logo! The each said immediately, "Oh, windows!"...

In terms of the overall layout, I am wondering if something more box shaped could happen.

I like the font style, but I don't like the emphasis on BM (that's bowel movement in English!). Maybe the Marshall could be emphasized in some way, while the lisa b part less emphasized. Maybe it's the the B that bothers me.

Regarding the graphic, it could work with four conversation bubbles, but I think it needs to have less color options and perhaps the shape of them need to change somewhat. Also, the way you have them it's like the conversation is in ring...it might be better if two are "talking" together and the other two are talking together. Meaning the part that hangs down would be facing each other. I'm not sure how clear I am. If you don't understand, let me know.

I am definitely leaning toward a white background so #29 an #30 are out. I prefer the of #28 and #29 over the other font.

I am looking forward to seeing how you will move this to the next step.

I like the new graphic! I like both #59 and #60. I keep flipping between which I prefer.

The B in #60 still is bothering me. I can't figure out why. Maybe it needs to be the same weight at "lisa" ? I can't tell if it is or it isn't. It appears to be slightly heavier.

Do you have any other ideas for the graphic?

Thanks again for your designs and effort.

Hey, thanks for continuing to refine. I really like what you did with the #101 graphic. I prefer the name in the color (as opposed to black) as you have it too. Thanks.

As an alternative...I am wondering if you could tie together my name and graphic by making one of the little grey balls/heads become the dot in my "B" of my name . What I mean is...maybe move the graphic as you have it so that one of the grey balls becomes the dot for the B --this way the graphic element moves above the "rsh" in my name. I hope you know what I am suggesting. Maybe Lisa B would need to become slightly larger? If you could play around with this idea, I would be very grateful.

Thanks again. Lisa

Hi,
Thanks for continuing to participate. I think if you combine #152 and #154, it would be good.
I like the layout of #104, but I like the graphic of #152. I am going to move these up in ranking.

In fact, if you could use the style of the graphic in #152 (same color same shape and size) but keep the orientation of the bubbles as in #104, I think that might be great. The graphic in #104 seems slightly too big, but seems good in #152.

Regarding the exclamation point, I might like without all together OR perhaps as sides as in #104 OR just one in middle as in #152. The graphic in #104 seems slightly too big, but seems good in #152.

I think 3D is my preference. I didn't realize that until now...sorry.

I prefer #181. Can you flip the coloring in the fonts? Lisa b with the gradient and Marshall in grey?

Can the exclamations be dark grey (not black?)

Thanks!
