This logo represents the eye and also uses the contrast of blue and red for everything to stand out.

Here I darkened the 'A' with the line (to symbolize the eye as simply as possible) for it to stand out more.

Hey Jens, I appreciate your input and I've thought about what you asked for and maybe this is something more like you're after.
I recreated he 'A' with the eye in it to make it more unique to the company.
