#1 Its a good start...

I think there should be an emphasis on the domain name as when it becomes a sticker etc I want people to know that it is a website. So using .org in there somewhere would be a major plus.

I would like the logo to do well both with a black background and a white background.

I dig the Gold color.

A few ideas I would like to see would be to have a small Kseries engine in the logo or possibly using a lower case k... again these are just ideas.

I get a somewhat back to the future vibe from it... and I am not sure that the I in front of the words is working for me.

I have a few inspirational logos and images I plan on sharing but I was thinking I would wait until a few more people posted before showing them.

All in all I think a fresh start would probably be best, but a good start.

I've got an old jap sportscar myself.

Here's the motor illustration revised. I also changed the typeface and included a couple of color options.

Additional options to consider:
#16 doesn't have boarder around the talk bubble.
#19 has a shadow below under the motor, which I think adds a nice touch.

I love love love #107. The talk bubble rotated 90 degrees fits better with the new engine and allows it to be enlarged quite a bit, which fixes some of detail issues you're seeing.
