Hello,

I viewed your website and blog.

It is good to stay with neutrals, simple and minimal so the logo and background don't interfere with your art pieces since they are so colorful. And because your style is freeflowing mediums with all kinds of subjects I chose a nature element but any simple outline element that represents your personality or preference would work.
I offset the square to create an asymmetrical balance in the design.

additionally staying with fine art elements as well as use your own signature or a san serif font that doesn't overpower your signature since it is a power point in recognizing your work other than your style.

#10 The palette shape is usually associated with oil painting so I eliminated it in favor of images would be appropriate for the different mediums I work in.

Like the type face.

Are there any other colors that you might like to see?
If you would like, I can move the brush around and different illustration styles for some for different layout formats

i would like to see it with some darker values in the background and some different illustration styles would be great.

Also at some point i may want to put it on a white background so a reverse color with the background white and the design in color would be good as well.

I am working on these for you

I will work on the brush.....you have some amazing color in your work...I tried to select some in CMYK format for the designs and selected colors that would not interfere with the many colors in your work.

IMO neutrals will not interefere and also will let your colors in your work stand out on your website and other applications for brochures etc....which I can offer you help in these areas as well if needed after the contest has ended.

As an artist you have the option of never limiting yourself to stay with a single color or combination of colors...they can always change as you like, but the logo in general would be associated with you and would not change.

I am here all day today,...we have heavy thunderstorms coming through today...

I have waffled between the first one (entry 19)which I like the best and the second (entry 26) which reads artist more. However since part of my work doesn't involve a brush and I like it better- I'll go with number 1. Can you use the colors for my name from the name in number 20 and the fine arts part from number 26. Now I don't know quite what to do next. Is it OK to ask for it in a couple of different backgrounds? Like entries 20 and 23. Or do I need to close out the contest and we do that outside of the contest for an additional fee? Thanks

Hi Joan,
You can ask for these anyway that you like and I will work on that for you.

I will make these variations and do the backgrounds for you and then you can determine if you want to work outside of the contest from there.
I should have something for you in a couple of hours.

Here are the variations with different background and some additional color combinations.

After the contest I will send you a zip file with all the standard files for the first entry along with files of each design that is yours in all the variations.
We will be able to communicate after the contest ends via email.

Before the contest is complete you will need to select 3 different designers for the top 3 ranks and then however you like from there.
When the contest is complete I will send you the files to approve in your LT account.

55 and 57 are great. On 54 can you change it to use the lighter blue on my name like is in 23- I think the darker blue blends into the black and is harder to see. With that change I think we are done. Let me know what your website is- that way when I announce my new logo I can point folks to your website.
