Hi DeeBee,

Thanks for your submission. I like the lower part where the name is listed. The name being bold and prominent is key with the 'Irish Pub' being subtle and incorporating the shamrocks. While the glass of beer looks tasty I am looking for something a little more serious and less animated if that makes sense. I like that the top is circular or I guess oval in shape. I would love to see the use of a Celtic design. I have stumbled across an example online. www.bonrunningclub.com will show a logo for Brian O'Neill's. I like this as a point of reference. Also, would like to see an idea that includes some Celtic knotwork. Thanks in advance for working on this.

Thank you for your comment. I've uploaded 2 more designs, a version of the #1 design with a celtic knot added to the glass, and another design minus the beer glass with a celtic knot replacing it.

OK. Entry #4 is in 1st over #3 in 2nd because I believe the 'Irish Pub' looks better when in the circle. #5 is 3rd simply because the green writing doesn't pop like the gold/yellow. I like the colors you have worked with - the deep red gives it a rich feeling. I don't love the pointy trim ring. Is there a variation of that or something differrent for the edge?

Hi, I just submitted a new design with flat gold type, did this before seeing your latest comment. Will work on getting rid of the spikes.

Note: Could you please refer your comments regarding my designs to me by going directly to my entry page and adding the comments there. Someone else might have totally unique ideas they'd like to enter, but will be influenced by your comments to my particular design, very limiting in terms of possible design options. More designs from others are coming I'm sure!

Here's a revision of design #4, flat gold color on the font, and I've rounded off the pointy trim ring.

Thanks, DeeBee. Keeps getting better. I apologize. I thought I was helping others by giving feedback to all.

No problem! The comments are hidden to deter copying of others designs. Copying has been a problem with first ranked designs in particular, which does a disservice to the original designer and the logo client.

I'm currently working on another design that I think you'll like, and I see we have another designer joining in. I'm sure even more will filter in later!
