Hello Brandon, my submission for your consideration. I did read the brief and from a brand and design view the two main requirements are in conflict with each other.
1. Large bold III
2. 3 life like lion heads with crowns
Having both of these as primary is confusing from a brand identity and visually as well.
A single primary elements needs to be the focus I chose the roman number 3 and a single secondary element a lion head.
