Due to the remoteness of where we are in Australia and the intermittent quality and drop-outs of internet connection to remote north Western Australia it is impossible to leave individual feedback for all designers and all logos submitted for which we truly apologize. Having researched for this project, my initial concept (and following designs) I feel answers all the criteria of your brief and updates. I have tried to keep in mind the sacred cultural aspect of this logo using symbology borrowed from Australian indigenous mythology and emblems to visually describe the "campfire" name within a modern, "web 2.0" context.
IMHO, based on the other entries at present, there doesn't seem to be a full understanding of the rich Australian Aboriginal history, and for that appear quite "cheap" and literal to the business name.
If my designs are appearing too deep and/or obscure in comparison to the other entries, please let me know. I'm more than happy to take direction on this one, due to the nature of this project, as I greatly wish to answer your client's initial brief and spiritual/cultural needs.

Are you able to do a version similar to #15 where the icon is on top of the text (and subsequently bigger) and the font is larger below the icon? Also, I would like to see some other font's that lend a bit more of a modern and technologically edge-y feel to this design?

Feel free to go deeper and push cultural boundaries. You have an understanding of what we are trying to achieve and your comments are warranted and your attempts to design to brief are valued.
I want to push the boundaries on this. I don't want mainstream or safe. I want to lead and let the rest follow.
We are wondering if also you could take a look at the "TV" icon with particular reference to the antenna's. We are thinking that because its an online channel that the antenna's could possibly be seen as "old media" and wonder if there is a way that you can give the "TV" icon some other treatment without the antennae. Perhaps its a "wave" similar to the RSS icon or something. My colleague suggested that the antenna be almost hand drawn however I tend to think that the "TV" itself needs to be a very modern TV.

Considering the fact I've been using indigenous rock art icons and colours since the outset of this competition, I'll remain with my existing design. By adding your recent comment to the general competition page, you'll be tempting other designers to copy and/or emulate my initial original designs (since everyone has been creating obvious "fires" whereas I took the symbolic approach using the images for campfire, gathering and sharing of information). Just mentioning this, as copying other designers concepts is not allowed at Logotournament even if a Contest Holder request it. Regrettably, of late, there have been too many unethical "designers" who will overlook this rule just in order to appease your request.
As per your previous comment regarding the "TV antennae", I'm still working on a different approach on how to translate visually the concept of transmission via new media.
