I thought you wanted to be "Wordmark" style logo and a full "Simple" on the slider?

Hi, you are probably wandering why your contest doesn't recieve any new, good entries? That is because it is extremely difficult for us to find the direction you want us to go, when there are a few, or no ranked entries at all. Also, if you spare a minute or two to leave a feeback comment to one or two designers, which logos you liked, or leave comment here in the general area. You could share what logos you like, fonts, styles. What did you want to see but didn't find in the designes offered and etc.

Thank you for your note. I started this as a word mark and when I wasn't happy with the submissions, I changed the brief to go another direction and I increased the prize amount to $450.00. Logotournament has not changed the prize amount yet but it should be updated in a day or so. I am planning on extending the contest a few more days. Please review the changes I made to the brief.

Is there a specific style you are after?

The best designers can do at this point is to review your binned logos to see what you don't want. With a quick glance I see you have highly illustrated logos and strong simple logos alike binned. Such a variety of styles and options and there is nothing about any that appeals to you.

Designers coming in (even with your generous increase in prize) might be discouraged and not even try to design an entry.

I highly recommend that you rethink your strategy here. You do not have to award a design ranked 1st. But you will stimulate activity by having ranked designs. You can rank some designs that have some features that you like and comment on the main page like so: "#_ I like the style of the duck but the layout and font feels wrong to me." "#_I like where you are going, but the duck doesn't look right." "#_ the colors are perfect! can you add detail to the duck?" "#_ can you change the colors and loose the reflection?"

Designers considering your contest will take your feedback and apply it to new submissions. Really, this will work.

As it stands now, it looks like any time or effort new designers put into you contest will immediately be marked not interested. So why try?

I do like the idea of an abstract logo that conveys the service of the site - It will be the site that helps hunters find the best guide service quickest. I like the tree on www.mossyoak.com.
Most companies take the easy way out and post a duck or deer smack in teh middle of their logo - this logo should be more sophisticated.
