Hi Mare,

Thanks! #20 is a good start. I'm leaning away from foliage type of elements because of the feedback I got from a business colleague (described in the briefing). At this point, intellect/emotion translating into action/productivity would be a good focus. That's why I like the movement in your person.

Can we try an understated (less whimsical) version and see what that looks like, too? The example #15 also is a bit whimsical for my taste, although I like how they people are rising up toward a goal (the star).

Hope this is useful.

Thanks,
David

Hi Mare,

Could you try a letter design/symbol like you did for TEQTronics. I really liked that. Here's where I am...I like the designs that's heading the list, but I'm still not totally comfortable with such a whimsical look, and would like to see some more serious, subdued (not old fashioned but refined) offerings. So if you could offer something up that is stylistically like that one, that would be great.

Thanks,
David

Hi Mare,

I like the design and think the earth in the middle is great. Can you tweak the colors so the green is a darker/cooler shade and the blue more of a violet, so I can see what they look like?

Also, just plain text as an option would be great to see:

clean, avante garde look (like what you have)

Thanks!

Also, can you do not all caps and the name on the same line.

thanks,

Thanks Mare!

Can you make the purple more deep blue and and maybe all gray except the globe and the name on the same page . I like the type way better.

Thanks!
David

Wow you're speedy! My friend who is on the phone with me right now, likes the colors in 57. Can you make the gold color more chocolate brown.

# 59 with a blue globe and the name on same line.

Thanks!

Hi Mare,

I just saw these entries. Way to go! Can you give me 63 and 61 with some of those colors I just sent.

http://kuler.adobe.com/#themes/rating?time=30

Cyrano de Bergerac – the dark green and the blue and the rusty brown?
The dark red in Martini (by Marlena…there are two)...would that work with the green and blue of CdB instead of the rusty brown?
Does the light blue in No Grass work with the dark green in CdB?
What about the med blue in More Martinis?

Could you see if you can get the font a little slimmer, like in Entry #16.

Thanks so much!

Oh one more thing... can you show me one of the versions where each segment of HumanNature@Work represents one of the colors and the @ would be a neutral gray? I don't know if that would be too much, but I'm curious.

Thanks!

Hi Mare,

Ooops. I didn't move fast enough. Love the new font, very clean. So...if you can try the combos (i.e. green arms, blue heads with the different shades of green and blue and the thing I mentioned with the HUmanNature@Work combo) I mentioned before I saw these, that would be great. I'll review tomorrow.

Thanks so much!

Oh, one other thing... can you make the globe a darker shade of blue. would the same color blue as the heads be too bland or would it be good?

thanks,

Hi Mare,

When you send in the next version(s) could you show a dimensional rendition of one of them, like in Entry #74?

Thanks!

Here's a thought... what about if you put the design above the HumanNature@Work and have some color or shade in the shape of a triangle framing the whole things.

That might make for a cool looking image, plus so you can have some dimensionality.

RE: the triangle, I would like something more round edged than the current triangle that Vian's entry (asked him/her to round those corners off.

Thanks!

Hi Hard working Mare, (I just noticed your message about not sleeping and then going to your daytime job).

Can you use this color green both for the arms and for the "nature" RGB 79 64 26

Thanks!

RGB 79 64 26 is a brown shade and not green - can you please check

Hi Mare,

Sorry about that. I should have written it down (couldn't copy and paste). I adjusted the original number to a cooler/bluer green 17 58 26

Thanks,

Hi Mare,

When you're ready for another go at it, could you submit a Wordmark idea or two based on the latest brief?

Thanks,
David

Hi Mare,

Thanks for all your hard work. If you wouldn't mind offering just a wordmark or the HumanNature@Work name in some different fonts that communicate the message in the briefing, that would be great.

The feedback I'm getting from colleagues is that none of the offerings are would connect with the level of person I'm wanting to (senior leaders in organizations) and/or communicate the message I'm trying to convey in my brief, so I'm thinking maybe I should go with just a wordmark or the name in a classy, refined font.

So if you would be willing to try those two options, I would be most appreciative.

Thanks,
David

Hi Mare,

One other thing that might help:

These are two possible tag lines that would go with the logo:

“Helping Leaders Unlock the Mystery of Employee Motivation”

“Helping Leaders Inspire the Best in People”

Hi Mare,

Thanks for your latest logo. Hey, would you be willing to try your hand at a totally different approach and imagine you were doing a wordmark--- with no extra images--for a financial services firm or investment bank. I'd like to get a few more "serious looking" options to choose from.

Thanks!

Hi Mare,

Thanks for the entries. Could you make 154 with the whole phrase on one line and the ones that are in the running the darker green. also could you make one of them this sequence:

Human - the dark blue
Nature - the dark green
@Work - gold

I'm curious about how that looks.

Thanks!

Hi Mare,

Thank you for all the work you put into that. Even though I personally like the design, I don't think it captures the Understand Inspire Achieve "bring out the best in people" dynamism I'm looking for. I can see, though, how that in your portfolio will be a winner for some other contest because it has great eye appeal.

Thanks,
David

Hi Mare,

204 looks very cool. Can you make the blues dark like the others and maybe the gold arm/leg that same blue and the head the head, also (maybe have the head a gradient) and the star gold?

Thanks,
David
