White, grey (I like a brownish grey - "greigh"), green (currently using a grassy green, but I like greens ranging from chartreuse to aqua, but not necessarily all together!)
Our Ideas & Additional Information
My website is www.holistickid.com. I like the idea of a tree with a swing if it can be done with a minimalist feel. Otherwise, I prefer it to suggest children without being childish... it needs to highlight 'holistic' meaning "alternative, healthy, green, complete health care both mind, body and spirit" and, of course, 'kid' which can be playful. I am trying to stay away from cliches, like a beach ball or cartoon figures. I am looking for something more modern and appealing to adults. Also, I would like a white background.

Based on the logotournament.com winners' portfolio search for 'medical + dental', here are some comments:

Page 3...
I like: "VitaeChiroCare" by Kanava, it's a nice font and it's a clean feel.
I like: "Lozano" by Biink Design it's a great font, nice colors, clean and the use of the subject matter (teeth) to create an abstract design - but this is slightly too corporate looking for me.
I like "Paula Stewart" by NancyCarterDesign, because it's still clean and simple but more feminine and playful than the ones above.
Page 7...
I like: "New Vision Conselling Group" by Gone - clean, looks like my style. Ties in an image, but keeps it simple. Still not playful enough for me.

Good luck!

I also like this logo that has a softer, more feminine feel: http://www.wholechildwellness.com/.

At this point, FunDesign has really nailed the tree/swing logo, but I'm still interested to see if anyone can come up with a design that incorporates an symbolic image of medicine or acupuncture into a larger symbol of natureand/or kids and family... whilst keeping it simple and modern.

Here's a great logo that uses needles as part of a flower. http://www.bendependent.com/content/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/ea_acupuncture.gif. I love the subtley and simplicity of the design.

One of the unique elements of my practice is the blending of western medical knowledge with Eastern traditions and remedies from nature... perhaps it may work to have an image that incorporates the western medicine and nature... like a stethescope and flower melded together, acupuncture needles forming a sun, or something along those lines.

Thanks and good luck!
