Hi Scott,
Thanks so much for joining the contest.

I like this design, could we also possibly see the green Hewitt with more height so more of a square?

Logo Designer
Hi Ed, will do.

Logo Designer
let move these from a dark background d it better to make an overall assessment of a design.

#86 #87 is this what you have in mind?

#87 Definately what we had in mind. Could we maybe try a different font for comparison. As we are not sure if we would need to change the fonts etc... if we add it to the website?

www.hewitttaylorconsulting.com.au

we are going to rebrand to just hewitttaylor.com.au and drop the consulting

Okay, looks like your HTC logo is Garamond Pro

it's not Garamond

looks like the original font is Trajan Pro that is what is what I've used, plus incorporated the 2 white and green squares from the original logo

Sorry to be a pain but could you do #100 in your original font.

Thanks

We like #105
maybe the ht in a single block colour (maybe the green) and the Hewitt Taylor in uppercase.

What do you think about a full stop after the t ?

We like #150 and #149 as a new concept, but #150 to #154 we prefer the lower case version you did in #105

We appreciate your hard work. Thanks

Scott,
Sorry to be a pain, but with #111, what are your thoughts in trying the lowercase ht in #105, in place of the two squares, but with the square one colour not two?

Thanks

#174 how's this?

HTC

Hi Scott, sorry we have been off line for a while, had a bit of sleep then off to work!

We like #174 from a size and spacing it is very clear. My wife is a little concerned that it may be a little bit feminine for our business, and #175 is a little too compact.
We also like the font on #87 but not sure it that would work with the lower case.

We like the simplicity of entry #120, but wonder how it may be reversed to fit with the website (blue background, green or grey?)

We are struggling with the logo's in general at the moment and we are sorry for the indecisiveness on our side. We want a strong logo that is recognisable, it will appear on a lot of external documentation and reports, as well as hopefully on buildings as we get more Funds Management Work.

We have seen so many logos and yours have been fantastic... we are just a little bit stuck.

We are so sorry

No apologies required I know this can be tough task with so many submissions and still days left. That is the downside of crowdsourcing unlike one on e consultation. It is not easy to provide design in this environment.

#120 will do with different backgrounds

Was looking at #211. My husbands name is Ed, what are your thoughts about making the "e" in Hewitt a feature, by switching the letter "e" to another font maybe even calligraphy. Possible even swapping the colour for the new "e". I would still like it to look simple not too fussy.
What do you think?

HTC

With regards to the above comment maybe try with a white background first.
thanks again

#263 #264 #265

in order for this to work we need to go with a San Serif font. I chose 3 script fonts for the letter "e" that did not make the effect girly looking. The name Taylor is in green to balance the design,
11 years ago

Logo Designer
no other elements added because the lower case letter "e" has a bold visual impact anything else would took cluttered

Thanks for getting back to us so fast.

We really love #263. Could we try the reverse that we would need for the letter head. (white background) and also a the colour combinations from #211 to #213

#267 #268 another option

Just another thought what about #87 with a navy e
Would that be too much?

Logo Designer
#269 #270 the grey background dis not working with lime green both are mid tones...I would stay away from grey

Agreed but the white #269 is very striking. You're a legend!

Sorry to be a pain. Could you show us what #263 would look like with the Hewitt stacked on top of the Taylor, so if it was used as a building plaque.

Many thanks

#299 #300
the name Taylor is the same word height as Hewitt the space (kerning)between the letters is increase in order to justify the name left and right

#301 #302
The kerning remains the same but in order to justify the name Taylor left and right of Hewitt the word size is increased

Thanks again,
We will have to be guided by you on which is best between #299 and #301 as well as #300 and #302 as we honestly cant tell the difference.

The other problem is I like the latest design and Ed likes the line of #263. We may need a tie breaker (possibly even counselling) towards the end.

HTC

We like #304. Ed is not sure about the navy box around the green on #303 though we can see why you would have to do it as a reverse to 304.

#301 is my my choice but #299 works too

horizontal verses stacked, there is not rule that say you cannot have both for different applications.

Hi Scott, Could you let us know in comparison to our original logo on the website, how dark is the blue in #301? Its hard to tell on the screen.

Also, we have had some great feedback on #301 and #263. But also #174, would it be possible to get a couple of colour variations on #174

I know we have said thanks before, but we really do appreciate you helping us get the right logo as we don't want to rebrand again.

We cant go 4 times! whats the number to book in to LTDA
11 years ago

Logo Designer
okay will do

BTW what does we can't go 4 times mean?

Logo Designer
oh I get it silly me, 3rd time is the charm
11 years ago

Logo Designer
personally I would not use my HT initials it is over used.

the idea of incorporating Ed's first name is brilliant be accentuating the letter "e" lower case we have a design that is

1. clean and memorable,
2. approachable (very important to make people feel at ease and comfortable)
3. has a professional look and feel with out being corporate see 1 and 2

I like looking at it and that says a lot since I am never happy with my work as I feel it can always be better haha
