hi gdgallery and welcome to LogoTournament . Only clear logo submissions are allowed (no presentations - b cards, letterhead, t shirt, web ...).Moderators will delete entries with logo on your web page screenshot.
Also if this is your first time using this site could you please spare a minute to read this post (by bugy) :

Thanks for the guidance. We didn't realize that placing logos on screen shots was prohibited but now that you mention it, I realize I haven't seen that on this site. Thanks again.

Also, the bugy post was a great read...helps us understand the contest from the designer point of view.

im a bit confused, on your website there is a link that says "win $5000" with a link to a page that says you are running your own contest via your forums for 5k,

have you decided to discontinue that contest and simply run it here at LT instead?

any clarfication you could give would be great,

Thanks for the comment/question. On our site we have an ad displayed that references a $5000 contest. That is not for GraphicDesignerGallery.com...that is for a different site for which we're advertising on our site. Notice that the logo requirements for the GraphicDesignerGallery are below that ad.

We are very interested and very much in need of your logo entries here on LT for GraphicDesignerGallery.com.

Hi all. We love the designs we're seeing. You guys/gals are way talented!!

Just a point of clarification, if you're not aware already...the GraphicDesignerGallery.com site right now has green and blue colors because we're using a temporary wordpress template. Please read the requirements and view the new site layout that we present in the blog post at this link:

Notice that the site has a reddish color theme, not green/blue. So as you're designing, please create designs that will match the site design that we'll be using later when we launch the site, not the current blue/green wordpress theme.

We appreciate all of your entries. This is a great contest. We expect to be providing more comments in the near future.

One thing we'd like to see is a version of your logo entry as it would be positioned on the top left of our web site. Many of the entries show the domain name and tag line centered below the graphic symbol part of the logo. This looks good, but probably isn't the best positioning on the web site....so, can you please show a version of the logo where the domain name is positioned to the right of the symbol part of the logo? This isn't an absolute requirement...it just helps us envision what the logo will look like on our site.

We appreciate your work so far. We see some potential candidates already and we are working on giving feedback one by one, however, we'd like to challenge you. In our requirements, we asked you to, "Please create a logo that matches the site design (images below) and that inspires you as a graphic designer."

We have seen a lot of awesome designs with the letters "GDG", but we're wondering if all of you are holding back on us a little. We wonder if the letters "GDG" are truly inspiring to you.

We want to challenge you to come up with some of your best work ever...something different...something that represents you and every other designer out there. We like the GDG concept, but we'd like to branch out a little and see what you can do!

When this site is done, your logo will potentially be seen by all the graphic designers in the world. When they see your design, what do you want them to see, and what do you want them to think?
