Thought I'd try something a little different - hope it's okay. I took the colors you suggested and overlapped them to show how the different elements of Utah come together to create/support the state. I thought it was a great way to show how different made connections unite to make a stronger Utah. I think it's friendly / approachable and captures the spirit of the phrase Go Utah!

#11 I like some of the direction here. I am seeking a very professional logo and probably lean more towards a focus on something like you are doing with the state, or some other symbol/image that brings the feeling of social/connected networks while letting the GoUtah.com text have a little less done to it. Not completely convinced on this direction, but would say that your effort is certainly better than most of what has hit the contest so far.

Like your thought process. Would love to see some more ideas. Open to having a symbol to the left, a thin line separating it, and company name/slogan to the right as well. Just some ideas.

#12 - Sorry, meant to comment here as well. Same as #11, but I'm not feeling it on the giant exclamation point.

thank you for the feedback! I'll focus in that direction and have something later today. :)

Here are a few different variations. I tried a horizontal layout of the already submitted concept and think it works well - it puts an emphasis on Utah - like saying that Utah is you're business (which, it is!)
I then used your suggestion of using the Delicate Arch. I drew it in a classic engraved style to represent the firm history of Utah's past, but then applied the modern mosaic to the background. It still represents that "united/networked" idea that GoUtah.com is creating. Having the arch in the foreground and the mosaic in the background subtly reinforces the overall idea that GoUtah.com is gateway to connectivity. Any comments / suggestions for improvement, etc. are greatly appreciated. Hope you like them!

thanks
