Only the top 5 get to continue to design in phase 2. I feel like it is a strong concept, but we can't see the others' designs in phase 1 so I don't know what looks are appealing to you most. Are there color combinations you'd like to see or font changes? Are there any tweaks I can make to the concept here that will make you like it more? Appreciate the info. 6 years ago I.D.ea Factory commented on #111 This is one of my favorite fonts and a little bolder and substantial than the font I used on previous submissions. I think it reads well with the bright blue and green and by having the 'Got' in blue it helps the 't' look more part of the cup shape and contributes to the overall shape of the tumbler. 6 years ago I.D.ea Factory commented on #112 Withdrawn Same as #82 but without the gradients in the color, solid filled areas and with a little GC icon on the cup above the typography, as well as placed inside an enclosure like one of the samples you used on your brief. 6 years ago I.D.ea Factory commented on #83 Same as #82 but with the dark background and lighter fill on the type and cup shape. I tried to make this one look more like the polished metal of the tumbler style cup and the green was just a complimenting bright color as an option. It could be any color that compliments the silver and the background color. Again the coolness factor on this one is that the 't' and the 'u' are part of the two-tiered outline of the tumbler shaped cup. 6 years ago I.D.ea Factory commented on #82 I noticed with this font that the 't' compliments the shape of the 'u', both two letters in from the sides of the words and surrounding the 'C' for cups. These shapes lend to the two tier shape of a tumbler cup, so the letters then become part of the cups outline. By flipping the green and blue on the cup, it contrasts with the letters it meets and therefore sort of disguises the fact that the letters are part of the cup in a typographic logo style like the umbrella logo sample you have in your brief. I can do a version where the cup colors are reversed back to match the color on the type if you'd like to see how that would look. This logo can work against black and white background. I have a white highlight in the gradient of the cup, but on the black background that can come out so it's not too bright. This logo works great in basic one tone, black and white, or in bright colors b/c of the hard edge lines of the icon and type. 6 years ago I.D.ea Factory commented on #81 Withdrawn same concept as #80 but with different font and different cup shape. this time the cup was orange, and the GOT was the light blue. 6 years ago I.D.ea Factory commented on #80 On this concept I wanted the name coming out of the cup shape but if I sit it upright the name is also upright and then difficult to read. For legibility I took it to a 45 degree angle. With the cup shape used being called a Tumbler it's kind of humorous inside joke or way to make it look like it is taking a tumble and in effect making it read better. The colors can be any bright, complimenting color palette with contrast for "pop," but this one here is based loosely on the Oklahoma City Thunder NBA team colors, using a Navy Blue, Light Blue, Orange and Gold. If the 'GotCups' represents a liquid it could possibly be different colors on different products to represent different drinks. I have the tumbler being the light blue b/c it looks the most like the cool metal color of these cups / containers. I dropped the leg of the 'p' right where the top of the cup would be so it helps sort of give the illusion of the opening of the cup. By making the word Cups the brighter of the two type colors it helps Cups stand out more and then you see exactly what the product involves without much effort and for quick recognition. 6 years ago
