I know it may seem small. But if I ever blow it up, it becomes more apparent. Can we remove it? 3 years ago mfarris added markup for #141 Withdrawn 3 years ago mfarris commented on #166 Withdrawn Good to know 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #166 Withdrawn the page itself can be any color or image the logo would be on top. 3 years ago mfarris commented on #166 Withdrawn Okay, thank you. I think I understand the first option, which is that the interior can be transparent (i.e. it can take on whatever background color I put behind it). I'm not certain I understand the second option. I think there is a typo . . 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #167 Withdrawn this example the box has a solid fill and the page background is a burnt orange, or what ever color or image 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #166 Withdrawn 2 options here the interior could be transparent, black or any color and the page it one would be what ever color or image 3 years ago mfarris added annotation for #166 Withdrawn In other words, this area marked up, is not part of the logo but just a backdrop? And that I would be able to use different backdrops? 3 years ago mfarris added markup for #166 Withdrawn 3 years ago mfarris commented on #166 Withdrawn Could you make the color (outside the frame) orange? I know that would be my job on a website. But I'm just curious. I know it won't be a true visual because it is such a small space on here but it will give me an idea. Just so you know, I'm understanding that the logo is the frame and everything in it. Is this correct? 3 years ago mfarris commented on #166 Withdrawn This is cool looking. I like the black background. . . 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #152 Withdrawn This is displaying a single color only 3 years ago mfarris commented on #152 Withdrawn That is cool. But not as cool as seeing the pumpkin in orange! :-) 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #152 Withdrawn here is how it would look in reversed black and white 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #143 Withdrawn This one can be both, a sloid white background inside the box or it can be what ever color or photo it's placed on 3 years ago mfarris commented on #143 Withdrawn Okay, lets say I chose something like this, would that mean everything inside the box is the permanent logo? And like the magenta example you gave, everything inside the box would stay white and the outside would be magenta? Instead of the magenta color being able to fill in around the letters? 3 years ago mfarris commented on #146 Withdrawn Thank you for the clarifying 3 years ago mfarris commented on #145 Withdrawn Very nice 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #146 Withdrawn Here is what I was referring to about the woodgrain version the encapsulated design is sold, and the whole logo would be placed on any type of color background or photo. I use magenta to emphasize that point. What I am saying is this type of design is best suited that the woodgrain would have solid color behind 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #143 Withdrawn alternate option, I like this 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #142 Withdrawn However, if you wanted the wood grain version then a border is best and the contents do not change. as the boxed design would be solid and the white background in this case would be what ever color you wanted. 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #133 Withdrawn however if yo want the keep the wood gran I would go with a boxed outline and the background color woud be the same hope that makes sense 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #133 Withdrawn exactly, I think this all stemmed from my suggestion that I could see this laser etched a a wood sign 3 years ago mfarris commented on #140 Withdrawn Okay! That is what I was hoping. Very good :-) 3 years ago mfarris commented on #133 Withdrawn Thank you for your feedback. I think I understand. In other words, the plain white background that I have ranked as my top choice with just words/vegetables/vine gives me the most versatility? 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #133 Withdrawn File supplied iaw LT policy is 1. PNG 2. SVG 3. EPS 4. Illustrator 5. PDF Jpeg images are not included with the LT required LT though I do not know why, but it would be be a separate file sent via email. 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #140 Withdrawn This design is easily palce on various background with out worrying about the complicated wood grain. If you want to have a wood grain header on your website all the is need is to place this logo on top. 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #133 Withdrawn in the desing the would grain would be ther all the time it's the background that is tranparent for example blackback ground the teal and orange wood grain would be on top of black background. I recommend none of the submission a wood background and use the original logo with text and objects only, this why you have greatest flexibility when using it on different surfaces. 3 years ago mfarris commented on #133 Withdrawn Okay! Thank you. So if I don't want wood grain to always show through then picking the white background is the way to go? Correct? This way I could choose whatever color or design for a background. Correct? When I receive the logo do I receive it in different file formats such as PNG, JPG, PDF, transparent background, etc? 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #133 Withdrawn You are correct, in this case the lighter teal is background color which would be the primary logo, however for use on website the file to use would be a transparent background png file only the text, objects and wood grain is seen. 3 years ago mfarris commented on #133 Withdrawn I still like this one and if I went with it, I would want to adjust it with the tweaks that we have done recently. So I won't ask you to do it on this one unless I choose it. The thing that I am uncertain about is always being stuck with that background color (design) verses the white one, which is versatile. Maybe I don't understand correctly, but I'm assuming that when I build my website and I'm choosing colors on the pages and background, that I will be able to place the simple logo on top of the background of my choosing and it (whatever color) will show through the logo. Or am I misunderstanding and there will always be a white background color (or whatever color/design here) in the background? I'm hoping for versatility for the logo so I can use it with different webpage backgrounds. 3 years ago mfarris commented on #140 Withdrawn Thank you! Looks great! 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #138 Withdrawn :) 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #141 Withdrawn brown tagline with rotated vine leaf 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #140 Withdrawn rotated the leaf downward 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #139 Withdrawn ok 3 years ago mfarris commented on #139 Withdrawn It looks good though and I see the balance in the vine by what you did. It's all about options at this point. 3 years ago mfarris commented on #139 Withdrawn Typo: "could you do one just like this but without the additional LEAF that was added under the onion. I almost wonder if it takes away a little from the onion. Or have the leaf hanging down instead of resting straight near the onion :-)" 3 years ago mfarris commented on #137 Withdrawn This looks good but I do prefer the logo in brown. It would be great to have one like but with the logo in brown. 3 years ago mfarris commented on #139 Withdrawn I like this and I'm about to rank it. However, could you do one just like this but without the addition that was under the onion. I almost wonder if it takes away a little from the onion. Or have the leaf hang down instead resting straight near the onion :-) 3 years ago mfarris commented on #138 Withdrawn Thank you for your thought and creativity here. 3 years ago mfarris commented on #137 Withdrawn Interesting... this gives it a different look. Not bad at all. 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #138 Withdrawn Food for thought, shorten the tagline 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #139 Withdrawn How's this tagline vine brown with additional leaf as mention any updates from this point the vine will 6 leaves 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #135 Withdrawn I should have type "No Pun-Kin Intended" lol I am on a roll now 3 years ago mfarris commented on #136 Withdrawn I really like this one. Thank you for your time and adjusting the "D." I think it looks better this way (after seeing it). No, I wouldn't ask you to go through and adjust all the submissions to date. That would be overkill. However, now that I see it, I prefer it like this. I do have a request about this one. Can you match the slogan color (i.e. brown type color) with how you did it in #106? Once you do that, this one will be ranked first for me. 3 years ago mfarris commented on #135 Withdrawn LOL! I really meant no pun intended it in it "Looks Good" referring to the word "Good" ;-) 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #137 Withdrawn I like this typeface as well, it ahs more refinement to the overall look and feel. Added an additional leaf to the vine, it needed it an wil be included in any further updates to any of the submissions 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #136 Withdrawn The typeface used for this design the letter D is angled inward. I have straighten it out. the font letters by design are odd sized compared to each other. Please keep in m in mind that redoing each submissions to date for a slightly adjusted letter D it not practical. However if you do select one of my submissions and prefer the straighten letter D it wil be done. 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #135 Withdrawn You mean "No Pumpkin intended" hahahahaha I'll upload shortly 3 years ago mfarris commented on #135 Withdrawn Looks good (no pun intended). I just noticed something and don't know if it is possible to change. Is the "D" at the end of "Good" leaning backwards or looking up? Can it be straightened? It is still fine but I never noticed it before. 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #135 Withdrawn How's this? Minor object placement as requested 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #106 Withdrawn Nothing is petty, it is all part of the process :) 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #118 Withdrawn no apologies needed, I thought I made a typo :) 3 years ago mfarris commented on #118 Withdrawn Sorry that was me, I wrote something and wanted to delete it but it wouldn't let me just delete the box. So I just wrote typo in it because it won't let let you type something and then delete the whole message. You have to leave something behind . . . so I just left that word. Sorry 3 years ago mfarris commented on #106 Withdrawn I like everything you are doing but I keep coming back to this one (#106)... I know you separated the pumpkin from the letters for me already. But could you do it one more time BUT without separating the pumpkin; in other words, the same way you have the collard touching the letters (not overlapping), let the pumpkin touch the "O" to the right of it. It currently is overlapping but I would like it to just touch. I know what I'm asking is a little petty but I am curious :-) 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #118 Withdrawn Typo? and have I done all the requested changes? 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #133 Withdrawn Thank you 3 years ago mfarris commented on #133 Withdrawn Very nice 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #36 Withdrawn done 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #29 Withdrawn done 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #51 Withdrawn ok 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #73 Withdrawn done 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #114 Withdrawn ok 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #134 Withdrawn as per request for #115 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #115 Withdrawn done 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #124 Withdrawn no problem 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #133 Withdrawn update for #123 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #123 Withdrawn done 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #106 Withdrawn done :) 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #125 Withdrawn I think I understand this one, uploaded. 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #132 Withdrawn update to #106, adjusted letter to separate pumpkin for the letters and did the same for the other vegs. 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #131 Withdrawn #125 update orange brown grain 3 years ago mfarris commented on #125 Withdrawn Thank you, I like it. Another request :-) I would like to see the orange/brown highlights on this lightwood type. Or even possibly teal highlights in the woodgrain. Can you do a version of each? :-) Sorry for all my requests! 3 years ago mfarris commented on #106 Withdrawn Is it possible on this to slightly make the pumpkin (ever so slightly) not overlap the letter "O" to the right of it? 3 years ago mfarris commented on #123 Withdrawn On this one can you take off the outer black line and then add horizontal lines but in the same color as the brown/orange highlights? 3 years ago mfarris commented on #118 Withdrawn Typo 3 years ago mfarris commented on #124 Withdrawn Thanks, this was not the one I was wanting to see without the border :-) . . . I'll comment on that one. But now I can at least see what it looks like. Thank you. 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #125 Withdrawn Tagline teal. I am heading offline any additional changes I'll work on in the am my time. Have a good evening and good night 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #124 Withdrawn no border 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #123 Withdrawn Black outline, teal separators 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #108 Withdrawn ok 3 years ago mfarris commented on #118 Withdrawn I would like to see the absence of an outer boarder, which is what I thought white trim would do. So I was curious what would happen if it were white (without making the gray to see the white trim). I would like to see it done with this one since it also has the orange/brown highlights in the wood which I like. Could we try it out :-) 3 years ago mfarris commented on #108 Withdrawn How about instead of "Good" being the teal color, the slogan being the teal color? 3 years ago mfarris commented on #115 Withdrawn Could you on this one, fill in the horizontal lines with the same teal color, so the black lines will be seen as much. But Still keep the outer black trim.... :-) 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #122 Withdrawn this version has the newer vine 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #121 Withdrawn update 3, in order to see a white border we need to change the display background color 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #120 Withdrawn update 2 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #119 Withdrawn Update 1 3 years ago mfarris commented on #73 Withdrawn Can you make this pumpkin look like #115 and #94 . . . just in case. Want to make sure I have some options as we near the end. 3 years ago mfarris commented on #114 Withdrawn Thanks! There is another that was I hoping to see too :-). Could you do one with white as the outer trim around the square. 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #118 Withdrawn Blue text 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #114 Withdrawn No worries its all part of the process. 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #116 Withdrawn The blank separators takes on teal border color. I like this because the text stand out more 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #115 Withdrawn With black text and black border. The wood blank separator take on th3 color of the border in this case black 3 years ago mfarris commented on #114 Withdrawn Thank you. I really like the background on this one. But I would like to see one with this background and black words. Also could we make the outer trim around the square the same color as the wood backboard (3 versions, one with aqua teal color, one with white, and one with the brownish/orangish streak color that is accenting the board). If I could see one of each trim version that would be great for my thinking process! 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #114 Withdrawn Color option 3 dark blue text with 2 color wood grain 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #108 Withdrawn understood :) 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #112 Withdrawn Color option 3 dark blue text with 2 color wood grain 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #111 Withdrawn color option 2 dark blue text 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #110 Withdrawn Color option 1 black text 3 years ago mfarris commented on #108 Withdrawn Thank you for taking the time to oblige. What I was hoping to see, which I don't know if it is possible or what it would look like, is the wooden background being the aqua teal color and the lettering staying black the way you originally had it. I also wouldn't mind seeing one where all the words are the dark blue lettering you have above, but I would also like to see it in the original black wording with the teal-wood background. Keeping the vegetables in the lettering as you originally did here. Also if you look at the lantern in the link that I sent the teal color is slightly varied with highlights of other colors. I don't know if that is possible? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XRF8QNT/?coliid=I2S1H44S3KO2FD&colid=13ECNRMJA7CBU&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it I am not looking at the picture for the color of the wood wall behind it but the color of the lantern being the color of the wood wall. 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #108 Withdrawn How's this? The wood pattern is not stock, it is from a wooden table outback of my place, worn and weathered. the grain was removed and converted to vector. I am recommending not to use black text but rather a very dark blue with a teal color for GOOD 3 years ago mfarris commented on #106 Withdrawn Possible Beach wood examples: https://www.etsy.com/listing/97925141/beach-sign-small-wooden-painted-beach https://www.dreamstime.com/stock-photo-old-wood-sign-beach-sea-image44305777 https://www.pinterest.com/pin/148196643965906677/ 3 years ago mfarris commented on #106 Withdrawn I generally do agree with you that less is more or at times definitely can be. Yet I am curious what this might look like and look forward to you trying it. Could you take a look at this pillow with its coloring: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XRF8QNT/?coliid=I2S1H44S3KO2FD&colid=13ECNRMJA7CBU&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it I like the way the orange is complimenting the aqua blue (or whatever type of blue it is). I particularly like the coloring of the lantern with how it is not one solid color but is a mixture with highlights of orangish/brown ever so faint. Could you possibly take this scheme and make it a background color behind the entire logo as a larger square behind it all. It could even be with rough edges like beach wood with strips of board behind it. 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #21 Withdrawn This earlier design the focus is on the elements not the name. though the name is somewhat readable but not to my liking and to many secondary elements. 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #106 Withdrawn From my submission #18 to this one I have focused on the the company name being readable at any size. Added elements best suited and kept to a minimal amount, less is more. 3 years ago mfarris commented on #106 Withdrawn Hmm.... thank you. I'm not sure! This is tough. I'm not certain if I like this one better than the other one that I have ranked. This is tough.... thinking... 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #106 Withdrawn I've revised the pumpkin 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #104 Withdrawn No worries, it is all part of the process :) 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #102 Withdrawn Agree I prefer the etch it is more inkeep with the overall look and feel 3 years ago mfarris commented on #102 Withdrawn After seeing this one, I think I like one where they are etched. I will get back on here a little later to see if I can find an example. I like one you did. I just wandered what a different style of pumpkin would look like. I'll try to find one . . . 3 years ago mfarris commented on #104 Withdrawn Do not care so much for sliced pumpkin. Let me check out the other one you did! 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #103 Withdrawn Something like this? 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #102 Withdrawn I've made a few minor alteration to the pumpkin. If you could provide an example of what you meant in the previous comment that would help with the direction. 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #94 Withdrawn if you are referring top gradient and drop shadow? 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #94 Withdrawn I am not sure I understand what you mean by pumpkin choices. Could you clarify? 3 years ago mfarris commented on #94 Withdrawn Are there any other pumpkins in you selection that would could experiment with... I really like what we currently but want to feel it out more. Thanks! 3 years ago mfarris commented on #94 Withdrawn I really like this in its simplicity. These choices are getting tough. 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #94 Withdrawn I've done some fine tuning on the vine and leaves, a wee bit more detail 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #88 Withdrawn I've reduce the pumpkin highlights, it was too bright. 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #82 Withdrawn Thank you for the complement :) 3 years ago mfarris commented on #82 Withdrawn This is really good! Thank you for your effort. 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #82 Withdrawn How's this? good call to add the horizontal vine :) Bold the tagline it more readable and better suited for the overall look and feel I am offline for the evening its midnight my time (EastC0ast) 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #74 Withdrawn It's no problem, and I agree it too much 3 years ago mfarris added markup for #51 Withdrawn 3 years ago mfarris added annotation for #51 Withdrawn Can we replace this line with a straight vine but about the same length? With it bending or rounding at all. 3 years ago mfarris commented on #74 Withdrawn Thanks for doing this. I think the vine wrapping around is too much or too busy. I needed to see it with my eyes. Now I know. 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #74 Withdrawn How's this? 3 years ago mfarris added annotation for #71 Withdrawn The vine wrapping around in the shape of a shield? I can try to mark it up with the tool.... 3 years ago mfarris commented on #71 Withdrawn I like the added vine. I wonder what it would look like with the vine being straight underneath (sort of like the other one you did where it is a brown line) -- but with the vine in its place and the slogan straightened instead of rounding. 3 years ago mfarris commented on #67 Withdrawn Is it possible to make the background a light faded brown (very light) ? 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #68 Withdrawn Background option 2 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #67 Withdrawn Background option 1, We need to keep the background light color for contrast. I am wondering what it would look like if all the letters were Black, except for the food. In other words, keeping the pumpkin collard, and onion with the respective colors. Then possibly making the slogan the color orange. And maybe the separating line a brown color? Not certain if that would work (i.e. a brown line).... ??? 3 years ago mfarris commented on #36 Withdrawn Yes, I can see where the S curved banner has nicer end/tip pieces. 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #43 Withdrawn I was not happy with the first sunflower petals, update here, though I most likely update again 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #42 Withdrawn .......................... 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #36 Withdrawn I am not liking the upward curved banner it looks and feel off 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #33 Withdrawn Is this what you have in mind? 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #28 Withdrawn actually I forgot you can do a markup on any of my submission, LT has a new built in tool for that 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #28 Withdrawn and upload there 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #28 Withdrawn you can send me a private message, and thank you for respecting my design direction 3 years ago mfarris commented on #28 Withdrawn Thank you again for you time. I just drew a quick sketch and don't know how to share it with just you. . . If I upload others will see it. What I'm thinking is for the banner to go lower toward the bottom of the vine circle, but where the banner kind of rounds/scoop upward (where it is rounding under the banner) with the collard greens upright on the left side but curved in a leaning direction a little bit over the banner. Then the pumpkin the middle and the purple onion on the right side (the side it is currently on) but where it is not the same size as the pumpkin. 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #28 Withdrawn How's this? 3 years ago 2B Pencil commented on #26 Withdrawn No worries I understood what you wanted :) thank you for clarifying :) 3 years ago mfarris commented on #26 Withdrawn Thanks!
