Discussion

I like both logos submitted by kib647 (#1 and #2). I like the simple yet elegant designs. I also like the initials "GR" before the name and also like the "Giscard Rojas" larger than the "Law Firm, P.L" I'm having a tough time deciding whether I prefer the black background to the white background. I'm trying to figure out which would look better on a website, brochures, business cards, etc. Right now I'm leaning toward the black background but it is virtually a tie between the two.

Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage more participation.
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

1st place - 50 points
2nd place - 20 points
3rd place - 10 points
4-6th place - 5 points
7-10 place - 3 points
10th on - 1 point

I'm very impressed by the designs I have received thus far. Below are some comments/feedback:
I really like entries #1 and #2. I feel that they are very elegant and suggest excellence and trustworthiness.
I also like the entries entries #16 and #17 a lot and these could potentially take the lead. I think that the globe incorporates the "international/migration" focus of the law practice.
With respect to entries #9 and #10 I like the "GR" logo very much.
I also like entry #13 a lot and I believe it would be excellent for another company that I will be forming "Giscard Rojas Sports Management or GR Sports Management." However, the design might be too sporty for a law firm.
I think entries #15 and #14 look good but the initials could potentially be confused for "CR" instead of "GR."
Entries #4, #5, and #6 look good but I'm not too crazy about the "GR" design.
The "GR" of entries #12 and #11 appear too big when compared to the rest.
Entry #8 looks cool and modern but perhaps too cool for a law firm.
Thanks all for your efforts!
