Thanks for entering. As is, this logo will not win the contest. Good looking, but not what I'm looking for. However you certainly have talent and I like this enough that with (significant) revision you certainly can have a shot.
Here is some feedback I have for you:
What I like: Size & placement of the .com
Undecided: Font type Crossing swords, I like that this shows some conflict..but I think it would be better to have one sword/weapon striking part of the logo or something else, rather than another sword Sphere design in the middle, probably try something else Other stuff to think about/change Colors : I'm unlikely to use any white background on my website etc. If you make another attempt put it against a dark background (dark gray, dark blue, dark red, or dark orange, up to you) Look of sword (or any other weapon): I favor a more mature look to the sword, that is it looks used/worn (but no blood) and possibly be more complex. Shadows: I'd rather you keep them off.
I don't want you to take extra time for nothing with this so just keep in mind to have a shot the new entry could incorporate some aspects of this, but in the end would need to be quite a bit different. The extra effort could pay off though :)
I really like the look of the text in #25. I'm not sure about the GR above it. Sometimes I like it yet sometimes I can't decide. But again this is only me and I'm going to be asking around. Too many great logos here to simply pick one myself.
I'd like to see the GR removed and focus on the actual text. Try adding a slick looking 3d rectangular border/pedestal around the text. Possibly then add some effects to the text, make it look like it was etched in or give it some height. While I would definitely like to see a slick border around it, I'm unsure if text effects will help or hurt the logo without seeing it. You can use your judgment or submit it with and without if you'd like.
Again I'm keeping the GR version around to see what others say. Thanks! I appreciate the work you've done so far.
Here is another concept that im workin on and im planing to put some weapons in it along/beside GR also in perspective. But if you dont like it know that would be just waiste of my time.
