I've uploaded revised version also took the word "An" off it's not required and makes for a better statement without it.

I'll be revising the mountain concept of the next couple days. As you can see I've already edit so that there is no downward side only upwards. That is critical in the design for a financial services company

Love it! Just want to clarify, we are just chosing top 5 designers at this point. Not top 5 designs. So once you are selected, we can work on different options (love the mountain!) Thanks for your contributions!

I do not call what I do work haha as an Independent Designer I work for my self and as you know anyone who is self employed has to put in 10 times as much time as anyone working 9-5.

True (this is why I am working on my company's logo today) I love the mountain design my partner loves the road (with city in the background) design. We looked up your portfolio and really enjoy your work. I am not sure how the next few days works but I will fill you in a little more about our firm. We value our clients and work through multiple generations of families. We have a number of clients where we manage four generations (Great Grandparents to Great Grandchildren) Our priorities are solid relationships and solid advice to help our clients achieve a comfortable retirement. Some of the images we like are trees with deep roots (to symbolize the strong foundation of family/finances). My partner loves the road idea for our slogan (all roads lead to income). Not sure how you can illustrate.... I will leave it up to your brilliance! Let me know if this helps or if you need any other information from us! Have a great rest of the weekend... Now I have to finish baking my kids cookies for the first day of school tomorrow!

lets get away from the bar graph, this way we can use a mountain shape with out it being a reference to a graph

Good choice the last 15 in business...graphs have not been our friend! And yes chocolate chips. I like #88 my partner still likes #85. Thanks! (and is there really any other kind of cookie...)

Scott, we are currently in a debate over road, pillars, and mountains. Any other thoughts to signify strong paths and strong foundations? We appreciate all of your work!

No worries it's all good, I was contemplating on how to add a pillar ug.

Concept direction behind my designs...

a Mountain is the most solid of foundations on the planet.....mountains symbolize the strength and fortitude. The road as I prefer to call the path represents the guidance you provide to your clients. The mountain peak is the goal and at the foot of that goal is a solid foundation. I thought about using a pillar with the mountain but the pillar is just to weak compared to the iconic mountain.

Just because you nixed the tagline does not mean you cannot use a path and mountain.
