Hi Scott, sorry for the delay in getting you feedback...I have been thinking about your designs.
#32 and #35 show the most promise (a version with hills and without)... I think the colour green may need to be toned down a bit and possibly just use a colour from our existing logo (the dark green). I think carrying a colour forward into the new logo would bridge the old with the new.
As you know we are looking for a modular design where the lettermark can stand on its own eventually but also be used beside the full legal name, the full legal name with tagline, just the tagline, and just a research program name. Could you play around with some of these options?
As far as fonts, I would like you to explore some different fonts in relation to the lettermark. I am a fan of having text justified versus open ended.
