My submissions for your review, the direction is clean simple with a big box store look and feel, something we as Canadian all know and appreciate.

Each of these designs are created with expansion in mind the simplistic flame reflects the clean burning and bio fuel used in your product lines. There is no fireplace because it is implied in the company name, as well in the future you add or remove products as technology develops you wont be worried that your logo is dated in a year or so.

Respectfully
Scott

Scott, thanks for the note and the thoughts about product expansion. Ironically enough, we are about to update the tagline because the product line is growing. Look for a post tomorrow afternoon.

I really like #16.
- Can we see some colour variations on the text, i.e. fireplaces one colour, canada another, or any other variations you have in mind.
- Can we see a maple leaf in there, i was thinking coming off the top of the flame wisp on the logo, almost like the end wisps of fire (i hope I'm explaining this right)

#47 looks really nice. How about if we
- try the logo on the left and angle the black swoosh the other way to almost make it look like a letter C for canada.
- use a script for the company tag line to give it a bit of a different look

Could I also see #48 with the scripted tag line or a tag line font that's a bit different.

Generally speaking can we increase the size of the font so that it's a bit more balanced with the logo, I'm thinking that this might work better for use online.

update, actually flipping the icon is a good call not only does it represent the letter 'C" but if you look at it right the whole icon is the letter "F" so effectively we "FC'

That works. Last request for tonight. Can I see #51 and #52 with the tag line from #55, really like the way you put the emphasis on the authorized

this design represent burning either by electric or bio fuel. the shape of the flame symbolized bio-fuels

Scott, thanks for all the great logo's...your designs are definitely in contention
- can I see the original design with that really unique flame, including the tag line...we are leaning towards the simplicity of it (like #48 but with the logo from #24)
- #96 gives us the opportunity to pursue the green angle...can we try this design with green to promote the biofuel aspect..maybe even use nice green tones in the text...but using the font set up from #48
- still love the logo in #59...can we try it with the font from #48

in general i think we need to tone down the tag line and create a bit of seperation between the main logo, i still like the emphasis on the word authorized but maybe we can unbold or something like that.

Thanks,
Domenic

the blue flame for gas/natural gas/ and saving the environment (water) the orange leaf is bio fuels (think fall)

Scott, you're a patient man.

I think we are leaning towards an all black for the word fireplaces and green and orange for the flame without the black tire (for lack of a better term) underneath. Also we like the word canada to be underneath the word fireplaces, like #44. With that said
- can i see #144 with the font from #44 (guess we can do canada.com in black as well) and then the leafs without the black circle on the bottom

Can i see # 133 with the logo on the left, the text and format from #16 all in black, and the tag line just toned down a bit.

#183 really like this new direction
- can we do the word canada after the word fireplaces, i.e. underneath it, and increase the size of the word fireplaces
- can we drop the tag line down slightly

#178 with the logo from #133

generally speaking i would like the word canada to be after or beneath but really like the new direction

update, by placing the "canada.com" below we need to fill the white space between the word fire and tagline,
also I've swapped out the font style for a more clean look rather than cartoonie.

Re: the new designs
- Logo Check, tag line font check
- think the tag line could still work with the word authorized in red as long as the font and type stays the same
- not sure I like the red bar, i don't mind the white space
- would like to see a version with the word canada in small caps
- why not extend the bottom of the p down and have the word canada.com just to the right of it and line up
- how about running the tag line right across the whole logo including the symbol
13 years ago

Client
#188
- extend the P like #189
- try small caps for canada.com
- thin out the red line

Can I then see a second version with the word authorized in red and the line underneath. I this version make the line that seperates everything in the same colour as fireplaces
