I love the idea of the roman column that turns into an endmill! I also really like were you put the LLC on the L & the reflection. Maybe have the LLC in the reflection also?
The black strip going through the word Empire Looks a little too dark to me.

Would I be able to see this in other colored backgrounds. I like the highlights around the lettering.

I am getting some feed back from the other owner of this company on these logo's also. He doesn't care too much for the top of the endmill as a pillar although I love the idea. If you can, he would like to see the top of the endmill as just a straight shaft or if you have any other ideas for the top of the endmill. We both do like the lettering and also the shading that you have done with this.

thanks for the comments, I like the pillar too... think it shows a lot of power, dominance...
...but I think it is still strong with out it, put a second one in for added strength

I had an idea & I was wondering if you wanted to play around with it. I like your ideas about using the roman theme. I was thinking what it would look like to have a small endmill look like it's cutting out the roman coliseum.
Another idea is something with the Empire State building.
