Hi,
I appreciate the high ranking on entry #95, thank you. I uploaded something different on entry #105, to emphasize more the idea of plastic casting, as opposed to machining molds. Not that realistic, as there is only a half of a simple mold, but it conveys the idea in a clear, modern look. I would love to hear your ideas on this take.

Best wishes,
Mikko

Hey.
A little update and a couple of revisions of entry #93. (see entries #107 & #108)

I like all of your ideas with the molds the plastic part and the chips.
Can you combined Entry #108 and Entry #95 together? Make the E fall out of the mold with chips on the bottom?

or can you make a small endmill (Cutter) that is our current logo look like it is cutting the E on entry #94 or #95.

Thanks,
Mark

I like it. Can you have the logo going in the opposite direction. so the E is falling out?
or maybe then you won't be able to see the E. I not sure if you could do that or not. It's just another thought.

Also can you darken up the blue and put the font in cooperplate gothic bold. I would like to see how that would look. Maybe it would give it a little tougher look.

Thanks,
Mark

Thanks for the feedback. You're right, the "e" didn't read as clearly when faced right. But I changed the angle a little, and It reads ok now. And the Copperplate typeface works great here! But let me know what you think.

All the best,

Entry #125
Can you put the EMPIRE TOOL L.L.C. font in cooperplate gothic bold.
Also darken up the Blue in Tool.
and if you could and you give it a mirror shadow image.

Thanks for the great work!

Had a go on a different text layout on entry #145. Might read a bit better this way?
Oh, and thanks for the high rank :)

I think you have captured my ideas the best. You have me confused in a very good way on which of your designs I like (#143, #144 or #145) the best.

I have uploaded some more really rough concepts of ideas of the way Empire Tool is modeled. "Logo_Line_Strike 1, Logo_Long_E & Logo_Long_E_Tool".

I think I would like to add what I call a line strike through Empire Tool like the file I uploaded called "Logo_Line_Strike_1 on Entry #143, #144 & #145.

Also I don't know if this is possible but could you try to use the "E" in the logo as the first letter in Empire Tool?

Thanks for all the hard work!

Hi

Thanks for the comments. The updates come in strange hours, a bit different timezone here :)
I uploaded a few more revisions, trying to incorporate the features you had examples of. The Copperplate font is a bit tricky for the "long e" idea. I had to split the long bar, or it looked like "FMPIRE" because the serif was missing from the "E". I hope the idea is still there, though. Using the logo's "E" as the first letter doesn't work, I'm afraid. Maybe if it was rotated - facing the camera - but then the whole idea of a mold/casting would be gone.
I'll get back to this in the morning, should there be more fine tuning to be done.
Good night for now. :)

Entry #152 looks great!
I know the contest is almost over so; it doesn't give you much time to give me one more example but if you have time. I was wondering if you can increase the with of the line where it reads L.L.C. It looks like it is a little small but maybe if you made it wider it wouldn't look right.

Hi.
There you go. It looks ok with the wider bar. The L.L.C. is now more visible, too.
Please let me know if there's some modifications you want to try out, or should we lock this design down?
Thanks again.

Hi

Should my design be chosen - and if needed - I'll include a version without color gradients and reflection/shadow effects. More suitable for embroidery, stickers etc. Just a note.

That's sounds great!
I just need to go over this with my business partner but I think we should be able to wrap this up tomorrow.

Thanks again for all the modifications you made. Everything looks great!
