My submission for your review and consideration, the icon is representation of 'ec" in the form of paving stones and construction elements. the colour theme is based on earth tomes,which represent the landscaping element of the company.
I like the picture part of the logo. Could we put the ec on a square brick paver. Maybe we could also bring the breaks in the ec closer to the ends so the c part is more defined. I would also like to se the design with bolder shades so it stand out more. I am excited to see what you might come up with.
You could also add the australia map in to the earthcreations name. either a in earth or o in creations.
could you be a wee bit more specific on colour options or are you referring to using eye candy effects...My professional advice is to steer away from these effects which take away from a design...sure they look cool on screen but get them to print and it's a different story, but I will do them if you wish to see eye candy
Colour: green, blue, grey, black, brown are good colors to choose from. I would like atleast two of the to be the brighter and bolder ones. The reason I want some of the colors to stand out "a bit like eye candy" is because I want the uniforms that I will be creating to of an asspect of brightness as this is a saftey issue when working with bobcats ect. I would like my shirts to be two or three main colors some dark and some bright so you will be seen for safety.... Haveing a bright coloured shirt saves me from using fluro vests. I dont want it to affect the design tho I understand what you are saying. I think I like your origian design best can we darken and sharpen the colors. This might take a few tries for me to find the write combo but I think we have a real contender with this design.
seriously I cannot do gradients it goes against my professional experience with logos....this eye candy effect is just that eye candy looks great on screen but a logo in print just does not work well 99% of the time it will get lost visually in print
cheers I appreciate your honesty. I know alot about landscaping not alot about printing and logos. I am curently narrowing down my designer to my top three. Currently you are one of them. I am looking for a logo that will look good on all the places I need it. side of my trucks, website, uniforms, buisness cards. I printed out the logos and on print your 83 entery green and grey looks good color wize. For enteries 77 and 83 I think there is two much emphasis of the logo and not enough on the name or slogan. I like enter 122 I am wondering if you can try and make a e that looks like a c aswell with color change or a break in the letter.
