I like the V, but perhaps drop the teeth below and perhaps a little less aggressive.

One way to soften it is to put it inside the oval. Try to match the current oval.

Very solid design! #20 is cleaner than #21. I am wondering how this could be converted to an emblem. I'd like to also see if it is possible to not connect the two verticle bars and only connected it with the V... Just a thought.
