This is very nice. The challenge we have is that we sell to rollerderby and figureskating customers so the logo mist communicate both ice and rollerblades.
1. The two skaters in #74 are great. The front skater should be the ice skates, and ice skaters do not wear helmets. The pose for the roller derby skater should be a little different than the ice skater. Ice skaters have a more elegant stride, like the one you have shown, but roller derby competitors are more about racing and getting ahead of the pack.
2. Any other color schemes are welcome, and use of pink or a dark purple could be minimal. We love the .com up the side in #74 and prefer the harder edges font in that one over the others submitted. The logo should have a very modern look and feel. This design is very strong, though it has more of a 1970's retro feel, so it's close in the top rankings, but more modern, crisp fonts are preferred where possible.
3. We are looking for an update to the current logo found on www.discountskatewear.com. Something that brings it up to a more fresh, modern look and feel and ads in the roller derby accents as well. Maybe just adding a helmet to the current logo on our site, and freshening up the font and blade design.
