'Need to sleep on this one -- thank you for your hard work on these 6 years ago Lumon commented on #174 Withdrawn increasing wide the "D" part to the left. 6 years ago Lumon commented on #147 Withdrawn Hi than, Yes no problem, I'm just trying to make variations the icon specifically the "B" but to be honest this is my favorite DB icon glad you like it. Please check again my variations of DB icon as you request above. 6 years ago jpbartle commented on #147 Withdrawn Enzyme - You are generating lots of variations on things I've requested. Thankyou. A quick request -- Starting with this (#147) would you please: - increase the width of the white line in the "DB" icon to be a tad wider than what you've done on #167? This would then be vertically aligned and approximate the width of the white space between DataBaselines and Boost text. - Remove the "INC" And after making these changes, show that as-is and make a variant in which you pull the D a tiny bit to the left from the B, like 5-10 pixels to spread the icon out slightly. Thank you -- Jonathan 6 years ago Lumon commented on #164 Withdrawn Hi, Check thanks for your feedback again. Please check my updates. Hope you like. 6 years ago jpbartle commented on #161 Withdrawn Enzyme -- I really like the layout / appearance of your work. The typography aspect of these are spot-on. This is particularly true of #147. I like the additive color / bisecting line treatment that you've done on #147. Those protruding "B"oobs make this logo/icon design not suitable however. Would request a couple variations please: - Remove "INC" from any further designs. I thought it was a legal requirement; I now understand it is not needed on a logo. - Icon/logo variation starting from #146 -- can you lighten the icon portion of this somehow. It feels really heavy / kludgey as it is. - With #143, please flip the orientation of logo to text similar to what you've done on #161, but don't include the grey vertical separator like you did on #161. Let's see how that white space between "DataBaselines" and "Boost" looks when aligned with white space in the icon. - I kind of like the icon you have on #161 - though the "D" gets a bit lost. That is probably the wrong connotation for me to emphasize for this business. Any alternate thoughts along lines of icon on #161? Thank you for your submissions on this... Jonathan 6 years ago Lumon commented on #157 Withdrawn how about this one? 6 years ago Lumon commented on #156 Withdrawn ok how about this one? 6 years ago jpbartle commented on #147 Withdrawn Enzyme -- I really like the half-tone / additive effect you have on this. The grey, dark blue, light blue on the symbol. The thing that is throwing me off on this and other designs is the cleavage effect that the right-most part of the blue "B" has on the design. I am removing this one and others like it from consideration b/c of that. Otherwise, I really like this design. 6 years ago jpbartle commented on #120 Withdrawn Enzyme, can I see this with just the lower white line (remove the upper white line) and move the "INC" (with no period) to sit on top of "es" of Baselines in very short / squat pointsize. "INC", Baselines, "on Data" all right aligned. I am trying to reduce overall width of logo. Thankyou. 6 years ago Lumon commented on #102 Withdrawn Hi, Please check my updates. Thanks 6 years ago jpbartle commented on #103 Withdrawn I like the simplicity of this design, but for the cleavage effect. See other notes. 6 years ago jpbartle commented on #99 Withdrawn Could we see variation of this with just the lower line in place? Perhaps a bit narrower / less pronounced line? This is a unique design not submitted by others Enzyme. 6 years ago jpbartle commented on #102 Withdrawn I'd be curious to see variations on opacity of the "DB". I like how the "B" is overlapping, can we make the "D" more opaque? 6 years ago jpbartle commented on #100 Withdrawn Enzyme - thanks for submitting. I really like the "DB" icons you've come up with -- with just one caveat: Many of the "B" resemble a woman's cleavage / brassiere! The use of empty space on the "D", the color variation you have, the use of typography on the rest of the design --> All excellent. Just that cleavage thing. Any ideas for addressing? On typography portion, please...: - remove the "We" so it is just "Boost Your Return on Data" - can you artfully include "INC" somewhere in quite small pointsize, perhaps above the "nes"? Once again -- great to see these unique designs. 6 years ago
