Discussion

Dear AYIK,

thanks a lot for your submissions. I like #27 better than #26 as the aspect "management" is stressed more due to the red color. Could you try an additional version of #27 with the cube in the middle being more "white" (but maybe with dark or grey margins so that it can still be recognized as a 3d cube)?

This would put a stress on that we find the "good profitable products" (the white cube in the middle) of our clients during our projects and strip away all the unneccesary complexity (the red cubes around).

Best regards and thanks a lot in advance,

Stefan

Dear AYIK,

additionally, after you've included my comments above, could you create another version with the "icon" of boxes placed to the left side of the two words "complexity management" so that the icon and the two words form a "square".

Best regards and thanks a lot in advance,

Stefan

Dear AYIK,

thanks a lot for your submissions. Especially #43 and #44 look great.

I think we should stick with the "triangle" shape of the boxes (as in #43 and #44) instead of the rectangle shape #42 as we think it looks better.

Maybe you build one version with a white box in the middle (as described in my first comment).

Best regards and thanks a lot in advance,

Stefan

Hi AYIK,

honestly speaking I wasn't that much of a fan of #49 (the reason why I sorted it away). But with the red margin (#50) for some reason it looks quite cool. :)

Thanks,

Stefan

Wow, #51 looks great. But could you make all the small boxes of identical size?

[Edit: no, wait, leave the sizes as-is. I was mistaken, sorry.]

But maybe you can take the boxes from #43 and just make the box in the middle pure white with dark/black margins...

Best regards,

Stefan

#53 looks cool, but since there's no bright margin the blocks cannot be identified as 3d blocks. I'll take it out.

Thanks for #52. The idea looks cool but the problem with it is that (unfortunately) it looks a bit like a flower if you view it in a smaller version... ;)

Hi Ayik,

thanks for #58. It looks really great! We'll discuss it internally and see whether it's better than #56.

Thanks for #60. But I think the boxes would look even better if you make the margins in #55 and #56 white.

Hi AYIK,

thanks for #61 and #62, but your #56 and #58 were better (more exciting due to more red). ;)

Dear AYIK,

I just had another idea on my way home: Could you try to create a version of #56 with a magnifying glass on the middle (white) block (the size of the magnifying glass should be just as big that the white block fits inside the circle)? The handle of the magnifying glass could very well reach out of the triangle of blocks...

The idea behind this would be that, during our projects, we literally "find" all the bad and costly complexity of our customers (e.g. too many unprofitable products or unprofitable customers) by having a detailed look at the overall business.

Lemme know if you got what I mean. Otherwise I could make a draft by hand and send it to you. ;)

Best regards and thanks a lot in advance,

Stefan

Dear AYIK,

thanks a lot for #70. In fact you hit the idea pretty well. :) The only comment would be that the magnifying class doesn't have to have a semi-transparent white circle in front of the cubes (as it makes the red and the white color of the cubes a bit grey).

Thanks for #74. Right now it still looks a bit weird. Maybe try it with a smaller white cube highlighted by the mangifying glass?

Hi AYIK,

thanks for the two drafts, but it's not what I had in mind. Sorry if I didn't make myself clear. I meant a 4*4 cube matrix as is but with only one of the cubes (e.g. the one at position 3*3) being white and highlighted by the magnifying glass. Maybe you could try this...?

Best regards,

Stefan

Thanks for # 80.

Could you make the white cute in the middle really "white" with dark margins? Right now it's still a bit grey-ish...

One small remark: We just printed your drafts in color and saw that the white lines on the red cubes can barely be seen. Would you mind making the white lines in the drafts #55, #82 and #81 a bit thicker? #84 is ok regarding the white lines although the they could still be a tiny bit thicker here.

I TRY TO BIG A LOGO

Hmm, the big logos look a bit too big I guess... ;)

@#52 (as I was thinking about that one on my way home): I think there's still potential in that idea. Could you please:
Take that idea and
- Move the two words on top of each other
- Use a font that's a bit more elegant
- Reverse the color of the cubes
- Make the cubes a bit bigger (so that they have the same height than the two words on top of each other)
- Use grey and red for the two words

Best regards and thanks in advance,

Stefan

Dear AYIEX,

The idea is great. I like #122 better than #123 because of the more elegant font. Thanks for your submission. :)
