Very eye catching. I like the sizing of collaborate and innovate. Would be good to get the dates in. On reflection, I dont think the grapes work as they look too much like a wine- oriented meeting. I think they need to be more abstract if they are going to work. Really like the feel of #8 it looks like a it of a celebration.

Love the offset stars/people in #34. Looks great. Would still like the Adelaide and Dates to stand out more. maybe drop "Australia" and use May 15-17?Lot of clever designs - thanks for the effort and thought.
I have asked others on the committee for feedback and you'll be pleased they love your concepts. Unfortunately, we can't agree on exactly which one yet! I think the star concept is the most favoured. The two colours to separate 'collaborate" and "innovate' works best and Adelaide and the dates in slighlty larger proportion. could you try just "15-17 May"? I'd like to get it so the whole logo was readable from a computer screen.
Looks great. I think 46 works best, putting the 2012 up the side. You could drop the "th" on dates to just leave numbers and bump the font up one more notch maybe. Like the colours on this one particularly.
One committee person has wondered out loud if we would be better to use the words "twenty twelve" instead of the numbers? It might sound better in promoting the meeting but might throw out the balance of your design.
I think we are ready to give you the prize for this competition. Is it possible to just see the entry ranked one in reversed colours (I mean a black background like you did the 'twenty twelve" version?
We like the design a lot and it captures everything we wanted.
