Design #17 is a different approach that the industry standard and often over used swoosh people...the idea here is both company and your potential and existing clients. the icon is directly tied to the both the name and the possible tagline added.

the sun is rising in the east which represents your clients future the stylized letter "C" is half globe representing the services you offer and the freedom these services bring to your clients.

Ashley,

Design #18, is an exercise in letter mark form and it is a work in progress.

Hi Scott, its good to get an understanding of your thinking behind the design on 17 and I like your thinking.

I like the idea that 18 is stand alone, i.e. once you know what it stands for it can sort of be read with out the words, as a work in progress what can you do to improve this.

Phil, my apologies for referring you to as Ashely

The joined letter CR in design #18 exemplify close bring clients that much closer to sound financial goal. the dot were added t to make the design more humanize however it's not working very well the dots are out of place and really do not add tot he design direction

Design #21 is visually representing Close...a simple concept that is effective and memorable.

I prefer not to use swoosh people and I am glad you binned designs #15 having 2 swoosh people either close together , intertwined on top of one another can be seen as a wee bit to sexual in interpretation. Certain industry this is no an issue but when dealing with financial services not so much.

Hi Scott,

We have been discussing your three designs and are drawn towards 21 and 18, finding it difficult to separate, have you tried the dots on top of 21, we are not keen on the shadow on 21.

Could you have a think about these two designs and see if you can combine them in some way, i think the more we look at all three we move away from 17 in favour of the others.

See where your thoughts take you, but good news is you are up there in the top 5.

regards

Design #51 and #52

The icon is the continued exercise in letter mark form...combining the CTR for "Close To Retirement" with the dot which humanizes the icon

#54 I am really liking this version it's bright with a wee bit of fun without being overly linear..definitely has an approachable look and feel

Hi, 54 has too many colours going on.

Really liking 50, looks like two people standing close together and the CR going on.

53 is my preferred of the single dot designs.

Will feed back more once I have spoken to the others.

I'm on the fence between 2 dot version and the single dot....not everyone who retires is a couple

Hi Scott,

We are all liking 50 very much, can we explore some colours all around that design?

We do think blue and green is working well, so possible a few shades of the same would be good and if you have any other colour combinations please feel free to suggest.

Many thanks.

Hi Phil,

I'm going to make a suggestion.

As a CH (Contest Holder) you are permitted to end a contest at anytime provided you found the design you want to go with...the reason I suggest this is because it does make the tweaking of any design a lot easier out side of LT.. simply because uploading a single image at a time is not productive.

the way I do tweak is by sending a clients a single jpg image or pdf with multiple variation in one image and labeled a,b,c etc. The client then let go with b for example or comes up with an idea such as can we combine a & e and so on until we've honed it down.

the other benefit is communication LT members are not permitted to have contact with CH's outside of LT while a contest is active so option to actually talk with someone for example eon skyp e is extremely valuable...I agree 100 with LT policy it is what makes LT the best palce to find quality work and ethical members.
