It won't show as well on these small thumbnails but large scale might be pretty cool. It will depend on if you're printing the designs onto plexi or if it will be solid color vinyl decals on the plexi as far as how detailed you can go on the design you choose. 6 years ago I.D.ea Factory commented on #61 If you found an example on Google you could send a link to the image, but otherwise I am not sure how you'd send it b/c I think unless I am the winner I can't share things via personal email through LT here. I think I know what you're saying on this so I can try a few more. We have a few days yet before phase 1 is complete before only the top 5 designs can submit so I'll keep trying to get into one of those top spots. Thanks! 6 years ago Kasidc commented on #61 Gold Business Name White Slogan with gold Bullets instead of dashes White Martini glass with gold liquid effect 6 years ago Kasidc commented on #61 Similar to the After Dark one you did with the gold lettering thats straight and white slogan on bottom. With like a White martini glass to the right of the business name with gold or pink liquid splashing in it. Very clean and nice. Think you can try something like that? 6 years ago Kasidc commented on #61 Hello my friend, I love what your thinking but I dont think we are going to have much room to work with on adding a lot of art. Im looking for the name to stand out with the slogan looking clean on the bottom and possibly a nice icon of a wine glass with liquid in it or martini glass with liquid in it behind the letters or to the side. How would I be able to show you some samples? 6 years ago I.D.ea Factory commented on #61 I went ahead and made this the proportions of your sign so you could see what the concept would look like with gold and blue fonts, the R dipping like the after dark logo you mentioned the bottle scape off to the side and the name standing out the most. 6 years ago I.D.ea Factory commented on #9 Are you limited on your sign size b/c of the building it is on as far as the rules, or can you put your name and slogan across the sign portion and add some 3D props or cut plastic or wood painted black like the bottle skyline and a moon behind them with detail. At night you'd still see the name and slogan lit up and during the day you'd have the clever cityscape showing. I'm thinking like how they do the billboard with the extensions on them like someone's head coming off the top a little. Mainly just wondering if you're married just to that 2' x 12' space or if you can let it grow outside of it as long as the readable stuff is within the sign so it's lit. A cool partially round moon back there, either lit with a spotlight or lit inside would be cool above that. I can do one to show you what I mean and if you can't do it or don't like it once you see it you can mark it as "prefers others". 6 years ago Kasidc commented on #9 I like the After Dark one you did for the sex company. The final one they picked so clean and nice. Can you try something similar with our slogan on the bottom ? 6 years ago Kasidc commented on #9 Also please keep in mind 2 feet height is barely any room so I would like more the name and slogan bigger and art kind of just incorporated in the background. Also feel free to play with some more designs and colors. 6 years ago Kasidc commented on #9 This one is really cool however keep and I totally understand where you are coming from however I would like the art to actually fit the dimension of the sign face (2 feet high, 12 feet wide). Also would like the name of Business on top and slogan on bottom with slogan inside of art instead of outside. But I like your approach, we don’t have to go with the eye. I would greatly appreciate if you played with a few more. Thanks 6 years ago I.D.ea Factory commented on #10 Withdrawn an all blue version of #8, no black, and a cool reflective gradient on the lettering to make it look like it's reflecting the horizon like it metallic or chrome. 6 years ago I.D.ea Factory commented on #9 The concept on this one, beyond the bottle city, is an eye, the moon being the pupil. I thought the oval would be a good enclosure option and fit the sign dimensions better (you can put the slogan out next to the cityscape eye oval instead of wrapped over the top of it). 6 years ago I.D.ea Factory commented on #11 Withdrawn The font can be a more legible one than this. I think on a back lit sign the blue will have a nice cool feel to it and the moon behind the bottle cityscape will POP! 6 years ago I.D.ea Factory commented on #8 All my initial entries have liquor, wine and beer bottles silhouetted as buildings of a city with an evening moon thrown in behind to give the idea of night life, when the party goers are out having a good time. The concept of bottles being the buildings can be used in many different layouts and styles if you like the idea. 6 years ago
