Hey! Here's my entru for your competition.

Spent a long time on the wordmark, the mark itself is something I'm not EXTREMELY happy about.
It's a monogram of the letter C and G and it forms an arrow, which stands for progression.
But to me it's a bit too much like a box.... (sharp corners), so I'm going to make a new one! :)

Just want to know if the typography is okay? :)
Really wanted to make it magazine-like ;)

Thanks for the work decoded,

Reference to #17: I think the font is workable, although there is still something that is not sitting right with me though. It might be the mark that just does not fit. They seem to conflict with each other. The mark is hard and sharp and the font is more rounded and smooth looking. The mark itself I think it a bit too abstract from what the site is all about. I don't know if the .com dot is working for me either. For the mark I'd definitely explore some more organic shapes. Could we look at some other options for how the "CG" part of the typeface is treated?

Looking forward to seeing more!

Cheers,
Jeff

So,

1) different mark (which was already in the making :P)
2) .com dot removed, but do you want the ".com" in the logo? Or do you want it completely removed?

I'd like to see some other examples of how the .com could possibly be incorporated, as well as how the "CG" is treated. You can try examples with and without the ".com"

I've currently ranked this concept #1 becuase think it's the only example thus far that has a distinctive well thought out typeface. Looking forward to seeing your new mark concepts. I do like the concept of the 3d line work you did on the creativity inc.entries in your portfolio, but am interested to see what else you were working up.

Thanks,
Jeff
