Mare, thank you for the designs! If you have time, I'd love to see another design from you. I can tell that you are a very talented designer and what you submitted is maybe just too complex. We're looking for a simpler mark that communicates how we help people, and I believe you have the talent to be competitive with a different concept.

Entry #76 Entry #77 - human butterfly - metamorphosis - would that signify catalyst in a manner !?

YES. The butterfly is brilliant, and it never crossed my mind. And you did a lovely job of depicting it without the cliche layout. Excellent, truly original work!

Mare, we have you in first place with the butterfly concept. Congratulations! This is the most difficult logo tournament I've been a part of (and I've helped lead dozens through our advertising company) and it's tough because of how many completely different concepts we have to choose from.

There's only one concern I have about your butterfly. The subtle gradients are what create the effect, and yet that may not work well in black & white, or embroidered on a shirt, etc. Can you experiment with some more butterfly concepts that will work more flexibly? Or worst case scenario, we may just need a simpler print/fabric version to accompany this really incredible web version. The butterfly concept is all yours... please get me as many variations as you can that you like -- we won't solicit butterflies from anybody else.

Thanks -- great work.

Firstly thanks for recognising the butterfly concept, and that you wont solicit the same from other designers, in so far to value originality.

Entry #128 - two humans forming an abstract butterfly
Entry #127 - minimalistic .. more designs to come

Thanks mare, I like #77, #134, #133 and #129 a lot. The only thing bugging us is the human head. Can you present those without the head, and maybe also something with more of a head like a butterfly?

Client
On #77, you have the body tying the wings together which we might like if it extended upwards to form more of a butterfly-ish / non-human head.

Mare, thanks for your hard work on the contest. We had a difficult decision, and your design ended up in third place behind #153. However, would you please keep a copy on hand? It is possible that we may come back to you to purchase your design if the final board we present to asks for another concept. So while it's finished from LogoTournament's perspective, you may still get paid for this design. That decision would be made by June 15, so you'll hear from us by then if requested.

Thank you again for your great work.
