Caldera

My submission for your review and consideration. The icon is the the letter "C" from Caldera arranged in such away as to symbolize, group, connection and strategy

Colours, Dark Blue, Red adn medium grey

of course these can be changed to suite your prefered colours

Clever idea ... I wonder if there is any way to make the 4 c's look a bit more volcanic. Not sure if you can but I can almost see how they might allude to that now. Also, I'd rather not de-emphasize the word "strategy" quite this much. Thanks very much.

Thank you for the feedback. I've made the text change request, however to make it more volcanic the intergrity of the design would be lost

Anotehr option would be more explosive...if you want you company branding to stand from every other geniric comapny logo this one will do the trick. The icon represents EXPLOSIVE, DYNAMIC strategies and the positive IMPACT for your clients

#57 - I like the direction here ... I wonder if we can try a couple of things. How do you think it would look inverting the symbol so that it isn't so much of a box in front of the lettering? I actually like the box but I'm curious what that would look like. Also, although I get how red goes with the theme (and I may end up going in with that in the end) I tend to like blues and greens as well. Can I get a look at some alternate color schemes on this one and maybe one that doesn't have that glassy look?

Overall though, I really like the submissions so far. Thanks.

#57 update, teh previosu description still applies with the following addendum.

Teh new sape of 3 rounded corners and swapping colour to lime green adds an organic feel, poviding comfort and trust to teh overall sense of the design.

#66 looks great ... I like where you're going with #64 but for some reason with the rounded look, it sort of looks like a smiley face to me when I first look at it. I'm guessing that might just be the placement of the sparks. I'd also like to stay away from making this taller ... I think the proportions of #57 are about right. Thanks very much for the turns on these

Also, would love to see something in blue around these.

I think I like the fonts from #56 and #57 the best. I also don't want to give up on the C's ... can I see that with C design a bit smaller so that it is roughly as tall as the words? Maybe a bit more subdued color would be great to see as well.

Thanks so much for the quick turn-around on all these ... really like where they're going.

The blue is nice ... if you do another turn on the C's, would love to see it with that color

I realized I'm asking for a ton of stuff here ... so to be more specific, the one's I'd most like to see are:

First - #66 in the blue from #68 with the font of #56 and roughly the dimensions (a shorter rectangle) of #57
Second - #57 with the shape inverted so that its not a solid color block but the sparks are the color (pick whichever color you like the best for that)
Third - The same logo as the first one above but would like to see what that looks like with "Strategy Group" underneath rather than just "Strategy" ... I think its probably a stronger logo with just Strategy but I'd love to see if we can get it in without making it look like fine print or something.

Okay great - last one and then I'll have a new number 1 I think. I'm not loving the teal in #72 - I think the blue and grey #68 and #69 are more what I'm after. My favorite set of C's is the one in #66 because they look more defined to me than #69. How would the red or a darker green look in this?

I like all of these and can imagine wanting different versions of the final logo like this (#81 for example would look great on the cover of a presentation). I definitely like the effort to give the C's more definition. I think they could work as a favicon or when I need something more subtle by themselves as long as they pop enough on their own.

I'm not sure on #83 ... I liked it when I first saw it but I want to come back to it in a little while (I get a little bit of logo fatigue after a while and stop seeing them objectively).

Do you have any favorites among all this?

In order of my preference

1. #80 and #81 (81 being the stacked version which you'll get both plus B&W version as well)
2. #83
3. #57

hope this helps

Orion, I've really liked all of your entries ... I think we made the C's look as good as we could but my partners weren't as into them as I was. I think the #175 has a nice look to it but it reads more as a water drop (or a red water drop for #176). Any last minute ideas? I really do like your work.
