Hi tridoso, thanks for being the first to submit designs for my logo! In regards to entry #2 - I would like to see it with different color concepts (using silver, black, or other shades of blue maybe). Possibly show the entire name in the same color.
Entry #3 - My first thought about the lightning bolt used in the "B" is that it's the typical graphic associated with Power, thus not unique, but after looking at it a while it is simple and clean and does provide for a memorable graphic that could be used by itself in other areas. Perhaps black could be infused along with the green and blue.
#8 I like the color scheme and can easily see incorporating into my Web site. Also like the simplicity of the typeface layout—very clean, nice. Not crazy about the graphic though.
#12 Again the color scheme is nice. I prefer this graphic over #8, but still hesitant. I would like to know if you have another graphic such as another globe, sphere, or something with movement perhaps?
I initially did not want to use 'patriotic colors' of blue with red, but it looks good as long as it is not overdone. I would be open to more color concepts if you have some ideas.
#26 Hello, you are definitely keeping this tournament competitive. Simple, clean and relevant is what I’m striving for and this is a nice look at that. However, globes with swooshes are commonly used marks, so if I go with this look it really needs to be creative and unique. The more I think about a graphic style (with relevance), the more I think about tying in the tagline with an ‘arrow’ graphic of sorts. “BrokerPower” is what I provide that brings goods into the USA, thus “Power Through” to the USA. Perhaps a drop-shadow ‘global’ image behind the company name with an arrow coming around and somehow entering into the name, pointing to or extending through “USA.” The new graphics you chose #29 through #32 are not grabbing me. Also regarding fonts, most entries seem to be similar. Finding something a bit more sophisticated may be worth a look. I am a 43-year-old female, so I want something that reflects me, which is a strong work ethic and friendly, easy-to-get-along-with working style.
Also, globes are somewhat common in my industry and after seeing the previously submitted logos I believe I would also like to see something completely different. A logo that represents me and my style, so something more sophisticated with a non patriotic look perhaps. Surprise me!! Thanks!
Hi Tridoso. You have provided me with some great marks. Although I’m still not sold on going with a globe, as I’ve mentioned, I really like #2. Next I’d have to say I like what you’ve done with #37, however I would like to see some more options with the ‘swoosh.’ And I’m not crazy about the star at the end of it. When choosing other options here, think “Power Through” to the USA. Your graphic on #36 is really good, but it doesn’t seem to fit my style. I assist importers in shipping goods from around the world and into the USA, then clear the goods through US Customs which can be a complicated process - hence the tag line "power through". Thanks!
