I started playing with an art deco option for you. Let me know if you would like me to explore this further.
Thanks!

Beautiful, professional, striking. We love it! Any chance you would play with a lighthouse theme in the same format? My son loves the train, and you really nailed the look and feel we were dreaming up!
Also, is it possible to bring the letters closer together? want the quick glance to resonate the word.

Glad you like! This was my first shot creating this type of retro design (though I have always loved the style) and I found it really enjoyable. This one is definitely getting blown up and hung on my wall :)
I can make some font changes without a problem and will try to work on a lighthouse in the same style first thing tomorrow morning.
Thanks!

My web designer is teasing me saying my "lighthouse" idea is a bit cliche. I love your take on the art deco and really want to move you into first place... can you submit any other brainstorms that include your theme but maybe different ideas for britelee? We are even open to NOT including the word COMMUNICATIONS

#123 is my personal favorite. if you can remove the stripes from the lighthouse, make the top, lighting fixture a bit larger and then make height of the actual box more narrow - like #92 i think we are there!

Sorry, I was playing with design and just saw your last comment. I will make the updates now!

Thank you! I'm worried that #136 divides the word britelee and you lose the phonetics of brightly and instead get bri-tele which makes us look like a cellular company ;o)
our url is www.britelee.com so again, we are open to not including communications...

The COMMUNICATIONS definately anchors it. Can you tighten it up a little more and make the lighthouse white? We really want the light to shine!

Entry #123 has the exact font size, color, spacing, etc that we want... we just believe the image may be a bit to tall. What if we used a lighthouse like galleyhead lighthouse in ireland (google images) with a double decker top and white. from a design perspective could you still make it art deco with multiple light rays beaming out?

#152 the britelee font is just too large/tall

Entry #123 is also the only one with the lighthouse closer to the i instead of the r
We like that

The problem is getting the to be closer together, without making it taller, while spanning the entire top of the graphic. I can make the font closer without making it taller if we shorten the box. So it will be like #152 , but just shorter.

opps! I mean #123 , but the box will be shorter.

I split the difference in #156 .

We love it! #156 is really sharp. One other option - could you try a blue background and a green background instead of orange? We really want to keep it ART DECO, but see if something other that orange is pleasing to the eye.
Also, we took a look at your website - very nice. Do you freelance? If we have other design projects for clients, would you be open to accepting other work from us?

Thank you. I think we were wrong about new background colors - they look unnatural...like a bad storm is coming ;o)

#159 is better - but with a stripe on the lighthouse...

Thanks for choosing my design!
One question before I upload the design: #155 on the left side there is some overhang of the the light off of the rectangle. Is that something you like? Or, I can just make it so everything is trimmed even.

Thanks again!
