Very distinctive, professional and modern design. I like it a lot. A few suggestions.
1) Actually, I prefer the name without .com, "just brighterself".
2) Color is nice, but not sure if blue is the best choice. Could you try some other color combos of 2-3 colors max?
3) Thought about having a slogan, but prefer not. Please let me see logo without slogan. I do like the yellow color though. Maybe try using that yellow to color the curvy design inside the design.

I love the simplicity and elegance of # 54. Great job incorporating the "sun-person" into the text. It is simple and powerful, exactly what I'm looking for.
Still like #49 and #55 a lot, but 55 is a little too bright and light. I don't think it would appeal to the male audience so much. If you have time, could you try #55 with a slightly darker orange in the design, and the text the same color as the #54 text?

Could you try a variation of #54, where the "Sun" actually takes the place of "B" in brighterSelf. In other words, a purely text logo, which incorporates the "sun-body" as the letter B.

Congratulations! I'm going to choose your #54 as the winner. Great job. Before I do so, just wanted to make sure you could provide me with some different backgrounds. HTML codes: #D8D8D8, #BDBDBD, #CEE3F6, F2F2F2. And would be very appreciative if you could include 2-3 of your own choices. Will probably end up with a white background, but am contemplating other light colors as well.
