The fishing picture doesn't work. We need a more business like logo. It's cute though

I know, just something I had worked on for another contest a while back, when I visited TexasScapes.com BlueRidge section one of the photos had old artwork on the side of a person fishing...I know it's not practical but most important is to demonstrate that I do research every contest I participate in,

Which is why design #8 represents grown not only agriculture/farming but also development.

I've added an arch which represents the "Hill Top" where the town was first established. The colour is bluish green that references the "Blue Haze when seen from a distance.

I've come up with a potential tagline which really hit's home the idea of bring local business together to work together and support one another. "Our Businesses are Family" or "Our Businesses is Family"

I like the direction of 13 the most. Could you do each building in a different color where it looks like stripes? Also if you could do one where you change the lime green to a hunter green ( green black and gray) are our school colors.

Can you try the tag line "small town, big ideas"

The challenge in this project is a that I will need to show a group of people the results and we all come to a consensus. A few more variations would be great.

The square form is ideally suited for various layouts especially #27 which demonstrates it can be laid out for vertical banners for various events etc.

I like the square layout but the colors on the previous one.

the oversized person reaching for the star represents possibilities and growth for businesses and community.

On #31 everyone would like to see the word big pop somehow. Also they would like to see it in all black instead of the colors. Can you change the roof on the barn a little so that it is more streamline and not so rounded.

On # 28 they would like to star filled in so that it stands out

#38 - OK!!! We are so close! The consensus of the group is that we would like to replace the man with the water tower spanning the two boxes just like the man is now. Then in the box where the water tower currently resides, put the small barn and buildings. The last thing is "ideas" should be the same font and not bold just like "small town". I know these seem trivial but it's a large group of people.... very excited that we made it this far!!!

Last question, if we wanted to take the same set of pictures and put inside the circle logo and then put "City of Blue Ridge" around it... how would we pay for this?

#40 is daxline no bold
#41 is call GeoSlab for main text and tagline

your second question I am not permitted to answer that while a contest is active. Silly I know but people will complain if I do discuss additional costs if there are any. We can discuss that after the contest is over and we can do that outside of LogoTournament, that is not a problem

I don't think that I explained very well.... we want to delete the man reaching for a star. Add the larger water tower that spans two boxes.
